There once was a little girl who wished she could fly. She dreamed of having big, beautiful wings.

One day the little girl saw a turtle that was upside down. It was on its back and couldn't get up. The little girl helped the turtle and it spoke to her.

"Since you have helped me, I will grant you one wish," the turtle said.

"I want wings!" the little girl exclaimed.

Suddenly a pair of huge wings covered in golden feathers appeared on the girl's back.

"They're beautiful!" she exclaimed. Flapping her wings, the little girl lifted off of the ground. She flew around. "Thank you!" she exclaimed as she landed. The turtle nodded his head and vanished in a green cloud.

As the little girl grew up she was adored everywhere. Everyone loved her beautiful wings. And she was an inspiration to many people. The girl with the wings was very kind, and traveled around the world to help people in need.

But in one kingdom that the girl had visited, there was a greedy king. He wanted the wings for himself. He wanted the whole world to adore him as the world adored the girl. The king knew that he needed the wings to accomplish this.

The king sent his best soldier to cut the girl's wings off her back. So when the girl was asleep in that kingdom, that's what the soldier did. He brought the wings back to the king.

The next morning the cries of pain and grief from the girl could be heard everywhere.

The king had the wings attached to his back. Finally, the world would adore him. The king flapped his wings, but he couldn't leave the ground. He couldn't fly.

The king didn't know that the wings would only fly for kind hearts.

But the king didn't care that he couldn't fly. He still had huge, beautiful wings. The world would still adore him.

But then the wings turned black. All the feathers fell off and turned to ashes. And then the wings themselves turned to ashes. The ashes were picked up by the wind and flew away. The wings were gone.

The king screamed in anger. In his anger, the king fell out of a high window in his castle. He fell to the ground, and died.

Meanwhile, the ashes flew towards the girl. The ashes landed at her feet and turned golden. The girl knew that this was the remaints of her wings.

She cried out in anger and pain. The girl scooped up a handful of the ashes and held them against her heart as she cried.

Then suddenly, all the golden ashes flew around and around, creating a tornado of ashes. Then the ashes changed into a pair of huge wings covered in golden feathers. The wings attached themselves back to their rightful owner.

The girl was so happy that her wings had come back to her. And she flew away, determined to never let anything happen to them again.

A\N: Part of this story was inspired by the movie Maleficent. But other than that, it came from my mind. I hope you enjoyed the first Tale. Especially since I was debating if I should kill the girl or not. And I decided not to. You guys got lucky this time.
