Her heartbeat rose and fell as she anxiously paced across the room.

No no no. He's just playing with my head. Trying to earn my trust and pulling me closer so I wouldn't think he's the bad guy..right? Oh i don't know... But what if he's right. The Russian woman said we have a rat. Could it be... No no no... Fuck!

Her conversation with Leonid rang through her head, her palms sweaty and she felt nauseous from anxiety. She needed to get out of this place.

How have they not found me yet. She wondered, considering Chris wouldn't have let her stay in there for that long. Or maybe, they were waiting for her to make a move.

She searched the room for anything that could help her break through the door. Searching the drawers for something, anything...pins. As she bent to open a drawer, the door shot open revealing an amused..

"Tracy? " Diana's eyes went wide open as she watched Tracy catwalk her way into the room.

"Hello Diana, or should I call you Bella. You're looking for something to break out of the room, no? " Tracy mocked but Diana stayed silent.

"How ungrateful, you don't deserve to be in here.. " Diana's eyebrows furrowed at her statement.

"I'm guessing you're Leonid's little bitch? " Diana spat and Tracy angered, then her expression changing into a wicked one as if she just thought of something.

"Rude...but well, your little friends aren't finding you anytime soon, the tracker you had in your body was removed... But I can help you " Tracy grinned. She was definitely up-to something. Or maybe she just didn't want Diana anywhere around Leonid..her Leonid.

"And how exactly will you help me " Diana crossed her arms over her chest.

"I can help you make a traceable phone call..." Tracy offered and Diana got lost in thought.

Maybe it's a trap, or a prank..but what if she genuinely wants to help, what if she just wants Leonid to kill me because she's jealous. Why did even offer to help anyway. Maybe she wants something in return. What did she mean when she said I don't deserve to be here. Could Leonid really be protecting me. What if Tracy is actually the good one... Oh I don't know .

"Diana? !" Tracy's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

"I said, you have two minutes to make a phone call"  She continued and dropped a phone on the bed.

Diana hesitantly reached out to it, her hands shaking as she dialed the number..

"Hello?"

But Diana stayed silent, contemplating whether or not to say something.

"Diana?...Diana is that you? "

She let out a heavy breath.. "Yes Chris, it's me"

"Oh thank God, we've been trying to tap into your trackers signal but it's not functional... I'm tracing this call right away. Are you okay? "

"Yes, yes am fine..i don't have much time, please tell Tor-"

But the call ended before she could finish.

"Strictly two minutes, well...now lay down and await your rescue" Tracy blurted with an evil smirk, her heels echoing through the room as she made her way out of the room, laughing hysterically.

Diana's heart throbbed, wondering why Tracy had offered to help her... Something wasn't right, she could feel it.

She was exhausted, but her mind wouldn't let her rest. She rubbed her sweaty palms on the shirt as the door creaked open, Leonid walking in with mouth watering pasta.

His smile widened when his eyes landed on the shirt Diana had on.

"You look amazing in that shirt, I brought you some food" He said softly as he placed the food beside her.

"Thanks " She said nervously, avoiding his eyes.

A part of her felt guilty for calling Chris behind Leonid's back.. If he had removed the tracker in her, that meant that reaching out would put her in danger. A rat was on the loose. And now she had exposed her location, which meant Leonid was also in danger.

"Are you okay Diana, you look pale" He asked, his voice filled with genuine concern...and this made her feel even more guilty.

"I did something terrible Leonid" She broke down, her breath getting caught up in her throat.

"What did you do " His brows furrowed in confusion.

"Tracy came in here and..and offered to help and-"

"-did you make a phone call " He gritted his teeth, as Diana shook in fear.

"Did you fucking make a call or not Diana!!! "

"Yes yes!!! I made a call! " Tears flowed down her face.

"Oh my goodness, please tell me it wasn't long ago" He whispered in a serious tone.

"Like an hour ago"

"An hour!!!!! Fuck Diana!! "

"I..I'm sorry Leonid"

"We have to get out of this place.. Now! " He screeched as they both got up quickly, running towards the door but...it was too late.

Gunshots erupted downstairs, feet trampling and people yelling and screaming.

"Oh my God Leonid" She cried.

"Shit..come with me" Leonid cursed as they sprinted down the hallway and swerved into another corridor. The gunshots were getting closer.

Leonid grabbed her hand and led her into a room, locking the door as they entered another room...full of weapons. It must have been the substitute escape room when things got heated.

Leonid cupped her cheeks and sighed.. "No matter what happens, don't get out of this room"

"I'm sorry Leonid" She whispered, blinking away the tears that pooled her eyes.

"It's okay, I'm not mad at you.. I know you didn't trust me. But I need you to trust me now. Don't get out of this fucking room until i come back " He kissed her forehead before grabbing a riffle and walking towards the door.

"What if you don't come back " She asked.

"Then Tory will get you out of this place "
