She curled herself up at the corner, grateful that no one was there to witness that moment of weakness. She could smell the blood and gun smoke from there, wondering how bad the situation was. She was supposed to be out there, stopping all of this madness. But instead, she was locked up in some room feeling bad for herself. What kind of a leader does that. What if Cassie was out there and needed her help... And... Oh no... Tory.

She got herself up...but before she could take a step, the door creaked open and she tensed. It surely wasn't Leonid. Or Tory. Or Cassie. Or Chris.

"Diana?...are you in here? "

Xander?

Her heart beat fast, what if Xander was the rat... What if he wasn't.  He stepped further into the room, and she froze. He slowly opened the door to the room she was in and Diana quickly grabbed him and shoved him inside.

His eyes widened, but Diana shut his mouth before he could yell.

"Are you the rat?! " She whispered in a serious tone, pointing a gun to his head.

"What? No! I came to get you out of here before he finds you " He trembled.

"He who? " Diana asked.

"The real rat...i had hacked into the mansion mics and cameras. So one day i decided to pass time by just listening and watching. Then one particular voice caught my attention, i heard his phone conversation, planning on how he'd finish you and take over the mafia.. " He explained.

"Tell me who he is Xander" She gritted her teeth.

"I will, but we have to get out of this place first and fast!" He quickly grabbed her hand but...

His brains splattered all over the wall before he could move and Diana held her mouth to stop her from screaming.

Her eyes widened when she saw who was behind the gun..

"Chris?? Oh my God I'm glad you came" She ran towards him but he pushed her to the floor and pointed a gun at her.

"Wh...what ar...are you doing Chris. It's me Diana" She laughed nervously and he chuckled.

"There won't be any fun if I do it right here" He smirked.

"What d..do you mean.. Do what? " She trembled as he grabbed her arm and dragged him downstairs without a word.

She whimpered when she saw Tracy and Erico's lifeless bodies along the corridors.

He pulled her down the staircases, and Diana gasped at the sight infront of her.

Trevor and Marco were tied up with guns pointed at their heads. Leonid was held, with a knife close to his throat.. Ready to slit. And...

Tory!

Her emerald, her luscious emerald.. Her baby. Had more then ten riffles pointed at him if he dared move a finger. Cassie was nowhere to be seen.

Her head lowered as she sobbed uncontrollably. This was all her fault. She messed everything up. And now she was going to get everyone killed.

"Such a beautiful sight don't you think, Dee? " Chris let out an ugly laugh.

"Why are you doing this Chris.. I trusted you" She looked at him with disgust.

"That's what you get to learn from life...don't trust anyone. Not even yourself " His voice boomed across the room.

"You know, I always tried to get rid of your annoying ass. But always found a way to come back. I don't know how you become the heiress. It was supposed to be me! The mafia was supposed to be mine!..Erico Hernandez did his part pretty well. Unfortunately i had to get rid of him since his services were no longer required.... " He continued.

"Leonid Dimitri...you did well trying to keep her from me. But well, your work wasn't as good... " He snapped his fingers and Leonid's throat was slit.

"Noooooo!!!! " Diana screamed, her body trembling as she fell on her knees.

"I wonder who's next... Tory? " Chris laughed.

"No no no no no nooo... Please don't do this.. Please" She pleaded as Chris' laugh filled the air.

"Or maybe I could make it even more interesting "

Tory and Diana's eyes widened when the guns pointed towards Trevor and Marco's head were cocked.

"Either you two shoot each other, or i will have their skulls blown without hesitation " Chris threatened as he handed them guns.

Tears streamed down their cheeks. He couldn't get himself to kill her. She couldn't do the same either. But they had to save the others from dying.

They stood facing each other, pointing the guns at each others foreheads.

"I love you so much baby. I wish i could save you from this mystery, I can never get myself to hurt you. Shoot me " Tory broke down.

"I can't, i can't do it!! "

"Shoot me Diana!!! "

"I love you! "

"Do it! "

"How heartbreaking...as much as i love sad soap operas I don't have time you two.. I have a mafia to lead. I'm running out of patience "  Chris threatened.

"I would go 30 degrees across the world for you baby... I know you would do the same... I would shoot anyone in the head if they ever tried to hurt you... And at night, along the sea shore, I would count the stars with you as I brush your the strands of your hair.. Not just one... Not two... But three times... But now all we have to do is.. " He cocked his gun, and she cocked hers... She had realized what he did.

In a deep breath, he finalized.. "But now all we have to do is..go"

In swift movement, they turned and shot the two men pointing guns at Trevor and Marco.
As if on cue, Cassie jumped in and shot Chris right between the eyes...

She couldn't save both of them, and just dragged Trevor and Marco out.

Cassie came back to give them a hand, but there's no way she could overpower the men with guns pointed towards Tory and Diana...

There was only one way to finish it, blow them all up... She looked at Diana sadly, and she nodded in approval.

"Finish it, we're going to die anyway " Diana muttered as she looked at Cassie.

She couldn't. This was her bestfriend. But she had to do it and finish this once and for all...

"I'm sorry" Cassie whispered before unpinning the grenade and shutting her eyes as she watched the place blow up, tears streaming down her face..

Diana had her fingers tightly intertwined with Tory's  as they held each other before the place blew up.

"I love you Tory Hernandez "

"I love you Diana Styles "

Cassie dropped and the grenade and their lives flashed right infront of them..not letting go of each other as they lay there...
