Chapter 4:

SELENE'S POV

"Magiging malaki ka na maganda katulad ni Mommy saka mabait din diba? Ang ganda talaga ng buwan ko."

Sabi ni mommy habang sinusuklay niya ang buhok ko.

"Why'd you named me Selene anyways? Why not buwan literally?"

I ask. She always calls me Buwan ko but she named me Selene.

"I read in some books Kasi anak na yung Goddess daw ng moon is Named Selene."

Mommy answer as she continues to brush my hair.

"How about Luna and Diana?" Me.

"That names derived from the Moon too I just don't know the whole story but you three are my moon." Mommy.

"Well you're my star." I said as we both giggled.

But I can see something different through her laughter. It seems like she's hiding much pain.

*Blaaag*

Dad enter as he carry me to the sofa in our mini sala.

"You mad?"

Napansin ko lang na parang nakakunot ang noo niya at nanlilisik ang mata.

"No. May pag uusapan lang kami ng mommy mo stay here with your sisters." Dad.

Tapos pumasok siya ulit sa kwarto nila Mommy saka niya ito sinara ng malakas.

I'm scared. My heart beats fast and I'm shaking.

"Are they fighting again?"

I ask Diana who's eating something biscuits that Dad gave her lately.

"Don't think so." She answer.

Hindi ako mapakali and I drag Luna to gossip behind the door. I hear dad screaming and things are cracking inside.

"Don't ever tell me that those 3 copied DNA test are fakes. You fooled me YOU HEARTLESS."Dad.

"I'm so sorry natakot lang akong sabihin sayo." Mom.

"Till when? Till when are you planning to hide this from me Stella?" Dad.

The room was filled with mom's sobs in a few minutes and then the knob turns and the door widely open.

"I don't wanna see you again with this lies and shits." Dad said tapos umalis na siya na parang hindi manlang kami napansin sa gilid ng pinto.

I saw mom na nakaupo sa sahig hugging her knees crying with her messy hair.

"Did he hurt you?"

Tanong ko agad bago ako tatakbo Sana palapit sa kanya but then may biglang humawak sa kamay ko. It's sa lady na kasing edad ni mommy. Binalik niya ako sa may gilid kasama ng dalawa kong kapatid.

"Stella, Stella , Stella. Natunton din kitang malandi ka." Says the woman.

"Tantanan mo na ako parang awa mo na. Maawa ka sa mga anak ko" mommy pleaded.

I started to cry saying mommy daddy but the lady just take a glimpse at us and cast her eyes into mom again.

"Mas mabuti nga to. Your daughters can witness how their bitch mother died in my hands." Says woman again.

"MOMMY!"

mas napasigaw ako ng tinutok niya ang baril Kay mommy.

"Close your eyes Selene. Don't look at me dear I love You always." Mom.
