Come now, come by our side
A place where you can hide
We are the sunshine
Rest your soul here, and you'll find
We are the energy
We give the world to thee
Hold up your heart now
We will ease pain from your brow

There was no doubt about it: she could most definitely get used to this new laziness.

Stefani lay enclosed in his arms, her lower body mostly covered with a soft throw, feeling very safe and protected; they were completely wrapped up in each other following another round of passionate lovemaking that had again threatened to make her scream out loud, pleasure tearing mercilessly through her. Absolutely delicious scents were drifting from downstairs, Mary and Lea busy with their baking, and the storm was in full rage outside, the bedroom window getting blocked more and more by snow. On occasion, the howling gusts of wind that moved regularly across the plains blew some away, but a new layer of white appeared within moments.

"How long will the snow stay?" she asked quietly, snuggling deeper into his embrace. "After the storm ends?"

"Not long; the ground is already pretty warm, and the sun will melt it quickly, so in a few days we will be back to spring." Bradley kissed her head, massaging her lower back; she whimpered as he encountered a few sore spots and he worked on them gently, making her sigh in blissful tension relief. "There might be just enough time to build a snowman with Lea, though he will have a very short life. You can be the judge and decide how he should look."

"Mmm. Sounds good, but what on earth makes you think it will be a he?" She grinned as he laughed, pressed a kiss onto his jaw, shifting a little and shivering from the tiny aftershock that rippled across her belly, making her moan; there just was no respite from the way she needed him, desire already raising its head again, not fully satiated yet. "I am glad the snow won't stay long, as beautiful as it is; I already thought maybe summer is cancelled this year."

"Quite the opposite, actually; they're predicting a very hot one." He watched her with a tiny teasing smirk, his hand moving from her back to trace the curve of her hip; obviously he was reading her mind. "And I happen to know a beautiful little lake not far from here; it's very scenic and an extremely nice place to spend lovely summer days."

"Really?" Stefani smiled; it sounded like heaven and she couldn't wait for summer, not a huge fan of colder weather to begin with, and she had no doubt that the season would be extraordinarily beautiful in this part of the country. His hand dipped lower, cupped her bottom, then started to caress her thigh, very close now to the place where she wanted it the most; her breathing quickened, all coherent thought slowly starting to disappear from her head. "Does that mean... that you might... not work every single day then?"

"I think I will take a bit of a vacation." He turned more to his side, his gaze warm and loving, moving over her features; his fingers danced little featherlike patterns onto her thigh, then he grasped her leg, tugged it higher over his hip. "I usually try to, or someone forces me to, anyway; I doubt there will be any need for that this year, since I'll get to spend it with this certain incredible woman I now have in my life."

"Oh." A lovely vacation with him also sounded like heaven; she closed her eyes, her entire being focused on his hand, the tiny brushes on her inner thigh. "B..."

"Hmm?" Bradley smiled against her forehead, his fingers dipping into her wetness very briefly, retreating before she even had time to complete the little moan drawn from her throat; he repeated the touch a couple of times, chuckling at her frustrated groan and Stefani offered him a brief glare in response.

"You, sir..." she swallowed hard at another touch, a little bolder this time, "...are a damn tease."

"Me? Why?" He feigned perfect innocence, brushing his index finger against her clit, rubbing it gently before removing his hand again. "What have I done?"
