Well, she felt sorry for them, of course, she did. It wasn't their fault and as a parent herself she understood what they were going through, they had lost their son too. But she couldn't be soft about it, Jake had to be punished, and if that meant that his parents had to suffer too then so be it.
She felt nothing but hatred for Jake, he took her baby boy away from her. Liam had always been her favorite son, followed by Alex and then Danny. She had always wanted three boys and her wish had come true but now she only had two and the one she lost was her favorite. She'd never see him grow up and get married and have kids and all that. The more she thought about what she had lost the more upset and angry she got and the more she hated Jake.
She knew what people would think, so you have three sons, had three sons, and you wanted three sons. So what about your daughter, what about Chloe? Well, Lorraine had never been fussed about having a daughter. She had left indifferent about Chloe all the time, she tried sometimes to care about her but she didn't feel it. She was brought up in a house with two sisters and she was the youngest sister. The older two sisters had bullied her for years when they were growing up and she had hated them, she saw how bitchy girls were with each other. At school, she got on better with boys, and always preferred hanging out with boys and not girls. She knew she wanted sons when she eventually had children
Patti and Selma, that's the name she gave her sisters, it wasn't their real name, just like her real name wasn't Marge. But she remembered Patti and Selma, Marge's sisters in the Simpsons, she remembered that they had been mean to Marge when they were kids, there had been one of those flashback episodes that they did from time to time. Well, Patti and Selma were horrible to Homer too just like her sisters were to her lovely Don. The difference was she never tolerated it the way Marge did, she told her sisters to show her husband some respect or get out of her life for good. They ignored her so she disowned them and was glad she did. She didn't need those two toxic cows in her life
She was relieved that Jake's parents had left without a fuss when Donald asked them to leave, and it seemed like they had been satisfied with what they had told them, that they didn't know where Jake was. Yes she felt sorry for them but she hoped they would stay away, she never wanted to see them again and she was never going to set Jake free. She knew that Donald, Danny, and Chloe didn't feel the same level of hatred for him that she did, but that was OK because her darling Alex did and she knew as long as her second favorite son was on her side together they would punish Jake
They were interrupted by another set of visitors, this time Donald let them in, and as she sat in the lounge she could hear the voices but couldn't make out who they were or what they were saying. Please don't let it be Jake's parents back again she thought, anyone but them Donald entered the room ''we have more visitors'' he told her ''the police have come to speak to us''
