-              "Let me get you" Says the very well-known face in front of my eyes. I am quite confused when I see him again after 1 month of thinking of him constantly. I must say he looks even more attractive than from back to that day if it is even possible.

-              "Hum, well, hum thank you" He helps me to get up. Why are you stuttering Beth? Must be the tiredness, there is no way he could make me feel that way.

-              "Are we always going to encounter in this situation?" He gently laughs at me.

-              "Huh? What?" I eventually say, not sure of myself and a bit confused. I feel completely absent from what he is saying... I'm just distracted by him.

-              "I mean don't you remember me love? You on the floor, me giving you a ride to your work..." He frowns at me. Well, now there is two of us confused.

-              "Of course!! hum I mean yes I remember vaguely" I correct myself, I don't want to sound too enthusiast about seeing him again. Don't show off too much Beth, that's it. Of course, I remember him.

The tension is not even bearable between us. Is it because it is awkward? The dog must have felt it because it keeps barking at us.

-              "Is it your dog?"

-              "She is! Isn't she lovely? Big up to Jesse the love of my life and the only one who owns my heart! Jesse, say hello to Elizabeth"

-              "What a lovely dog, hello Jesse, how are you? Aren't you tired, it's quite late for you isn't it?" Jesse keeps running between us excitedly. It makes us both laugh very much because she keeps slipping with her paws on the floor.

-              "Jesse, just calm down" he says between laughs "You are going to be sick and end hurt my heart" Is he calling his dog "heart"? That's unusual but lovely. I chuckle.

-              "Oh, Bradley bear you are here! I missed you so much!" Anne just appeared in the room.

-              "Muuum, please don't call me like that! I'm not ten anymore, I missed you too though"

So, he is called Bradley. The dreamy stranger finally has a name to put on. And if Anne is his mum, he must be... Bradley Simpson.

Bradley (bear) Simpson.

Lovely boy, lovely mum and dad, lovely dog. What isn't lovely about this man?

-              "But when did you come back from t..." Anne is cut by Brad. I still feel a bit odd in this conversation. They look like they haven't seen each other for ages and here I am standing there, feeling a bit too much. So, I quickly step out and make my way to finish cleaning the room for further service.

-              "A few weeks ago, mum, I had loads of things to do, that is why I couldn't see you and dad" He responds quite stressed. Why though?

-              "Anyway, everyone loved your performance there. They missed you a lot, including us Bradley bear" Says Anne whilst pinching Brad's cheek. I smile at the view. They seem quite close. Actually, everyone from this family looks close to each other. But, wait what?

-              "What performance?" Oh, did I just talk out loud? Why can't I keep concentring cleaning the tables? Maybe because you are a curious person Beth?

-              "Well, Brad was our singer tonight!!" Answers Anne within a second, sounding excited and proud.

-              "Oh, the "demanding" singer is... your son?" I say shyly.

-              "Glad to see that I keep a very good reputation around here mum" He chuckles and joke with Anne.

-              "You know we love to joke about you Brad"

-              "What did you think Elizabeth?" he turns to me almost making me shiver from his intense look. I've always had a thing for Hazel eyes. Blue eyes are way too much overrated.

-              "Of what?" I ask confused about his question

-              "Well about me dancing around of course" He replies with a bit of humour in his tone. I never know what to expect from this man. When is he joking and when is he not? British people always use sarcasm, but he just beat them all at it.

-              "Ha! Would love to see that Honey, you know you can't dance as well as your parents. He is terrible at dancing Elizabeth. You wish you'd see him dancing around like a 5 years old on st..." Shout from afar Anne to us.

-              "About my singing performance love, that's what I was talking about, did you like it?"

-              "Oh, hum, I-I don't know?" I don't know what to reply. I feel a bit odd respect to music, I'm not really into it and I barely know popular artists nowadays. Not that I don't like it, I just don't have time for it.

-              "Oh c'mon, I can't be that bad! I know I'm not Alex Turner but I feel I'm doing pretty well, am I?" Who the hell is Alex Turner?

-              "Alex who?" I am being totally serious. Don't judge me.

-              "Mum!" He shouts, "She doesn't know the freaking legend Alex Turner, how can she still be alive and healthy?" Even though I feel a bit idiot, I laugh at his words, because he is a funny guy. "What are you waiting to fire her?! The girl barely has pop culture. I'll have to rectify that one day love" He winks. Yes Ma'am. He just winked at me. As if calling me "love" wasn't enough for me to like him more.

What are you thinking about Beth? You usually don't like that sort of behaviour.

Usually is the keyword. Why do I feel different around him?

-               "Well, I don't know anything about music, sorry. But I liked it. Your performance I mean. That was unusual. In a good way" I smile at him which makes him gently relieve a breath that I never knew he was holding on. Was he caring about me liking his performance? That's cute.

Then, I yawn unexpectedly. Oh, very polite of you Beth.

-              "You should go back home Honey, it's quite late and tonight has been a frenetic night." She grins at her son and checks the clock. "Oh yes, it is, too much late though, are you taking the tube?"

-              "Hum yes, I don't have a license nor a car though."

-              "But I reckon the tube is by now close, isn't it? I'll ride you" Intervene Bradley.

-              "Oh god no, I won't take your time, you must be exhausted from your performance mister pretentious singer, I'll take a taxi it's okay" I reply jokily.

-              "It wasn't a question Elizabeth" he spins, heading to the door. Why everyone keeps calling me Elizabeth though? Perhaps because it is your name duh?

-              "I'm taking Jesse for tonight mum, bye love ya'"

-              "Don't you dare making him get angry darling, he can be a pain in the arse when he wants to, run and go" Whispers me Anne. And I obey. I oddly obey to someone I don't even know, and I feel awkwardly cool about it. I couldn't even protest though as he was already heading to the entry. But I can't complain, that's lovely of him to take me home. Still, I feel embarrassed about. Is he always going to save me from unfortunate situations?

Wow, calm down Beth, he isn't saving you, what are you thinking about?

Whilst I'm walking -well almost running- following Bradley's path, I'm wondering why is he being so bossy? Does he care about what I want? I don't even know him after all.

Stop finding excuses Beth, you know his parents, they are lovely. What could possibly happen from him taking you home?

Well, a lot of things Beth. A lot.
