Chapter 16: Shinobi 5

A small boy with hair was looking at girl with blonde hair.

Boy : Are you fine?

Girl : Yeah. I am fine. Let's continue running they might catch up-to us.

Boy : Yeah.

Some people in lab coats appeared behind them. They caught the white haired boy.

Boy : Run. Misaki run.

Misaki : But you.

Boy : Don't worry I will fine. I am the strongest after all.

A man with green hairs appeared. He had black tattoos on his face.

Man : So, a monster is helping someone. Whatever I don't need that girl anymore.

Boy : Run Misaki Run.

It is still middle of the night. In Tokiwadai dorm tears came out of Misaki's eyes.

Hakaze: Queen, are you fine?  It looks like you have seen a bad dream.

Misaki : I am fine Hakaze.

Shreek.

Blood was flowing out of Excel's stomach. In front of him a girl was holding a blade.

Excel : (mind)  She is too fast. My shadow can't keep up.

Excel : Aren't you quick !

Hanabi : I appreciate your compliments. But my master is way ahead of me.

Excel : Is that so?

Hanabi : I won't let you get past me.

Hanabi : Higanbana

Excel was unable to move. He tried to use magic but it didn't work.

Hanabi : Sealing Scroll

Hanabi placed a Talismant. Excel could feel magic energy being drained from him. But, how much will it drain. One hour passed.

Hanabi : How much magic do you have? People die in minutes when they come in contact with my talismant. 

Excel : Is that all?  I don't fell anything.

How much magic does Excel has? It is question that has only one answer. Infinite. Excel is like a well. A well with infinite depth. And that well has the magic of a goddess. So, how will magic of a goddess extracted in minutes.

The talistmant can't handle it anymore. It was going to explode. Hanabi was able to escape but Excel was the bomb himself.

Boom.

There was dust everywhere. A Mini earthquake. What happened to Excel?  The answer is nothing. Excel reabsorbed all the magic that was extracted from him. 

Excel : Shadow Armour.

Excel was covered in shadow. I
He was Igris a long knight with a giant sword. After the dust was cleared Hanabi saw Excel she was terrified. A shadow knight in the dark, under the full moon ready to slain anyone.

Hanabi could feel the killing intent from Excel. Then suddenly she felt a pinch on her left chick.

Hanabi : (mind)  Quick.  I couldn't sense him.

Excel : Damn it. That was slow.  I was 0.023 seconds slow. I need more practice.

Hanabi : What would've happened if you weren't slow.

Excel : I could have cut your neck.

Hanabi was now scared. The killing intent was getting even more tense.
Excel raised his arm. The sword was shinning under the moonlight. Then...

Pierce.

Hanabi felt something in her stomach. It was dark. A shadow sword had pierced her abdomen. Now she was grinning in pain.

Excel : I think now I am qualified enough to fight your master.

Hanabi felt down.

Ghost : Yeah you are.

Excel : You again. Aren't you the one who I met today?

Ghost : You are right.

Izanagi came out of Excel's body.

Izanagi : Hanzo. Isn't that you Hanzo ?

Hanzo : That's right. Goddess Izanagi. I am thankful for this power. I have been cultivating since then but still I couldn't complete my mission.

Izanagi : I know you tried your best. But it looks like Excel here is the one who rescued me.

Hanzo : You are right. Buy still I need to kill Excel so that I can harness your full power.

Crack. Crack.

Excel's armour broke with one single stick. The golden spikes attacked at mach 3 speed. It was humanly impossible to dodge. Human reaction was too slow. Excel is now completely exposed.

But,  do you think the strongest mage will lose so soon ?

Excel : Izanagi.

Izanagi : Yes.

Izanagi went near Excel she changed into a dagger. Hanzo attacked again but this time Excel evaded the attack.

Hanzo : How did you dodge that ?

Excel : I have already finished my calculations. All I have to do is find your real bod...y.   Found it.

Hanzo charged towards Excel. He evaded the attack but suddenly spikes appeared from the ground. Excel was again able to dodge the attack.

Excel was in air. Then suddenly Hanzo started attacking multiple times in air. Excel was dodging them all. It was like someone dancing in air under the bright moon light.

Hanzo : How fast are you? Your reflexes are off the charts.

The ghost disappeared. A man appeared. He was wearing a yellow shirt. He had as mask on his face and a giant sword with a mouth.

Excel : So, you finally showed up. Hanzo.

Hanzo : I am have lost. But i will take you with me.

Hanzo attacked with his giant sword. But again Excel evaded the attack and strabbed him with Izanagi. She started taking her magic back. It was true that Hanzo had trained hard. Magic was overflowing inside Excel.

Excel : What the hell?  This magic is humongous. I finally absorbed it. Izanagi how do you fell?

Izanagi : It feels good. I am now complete. But I have say you are quite strong than what It thought.

They left the construction site. The sun started coming out. Excel decided not to go to school but Yomikawa forced him.
