Chapter 5 Part Two

--Nikki's POV--

Like I said. It felt like we were sitting there for hours. Getting to know eachother. He asked me about my past but I didn't say much because I didn't like to talk about it because it made me sad everytime. I told him that my parents died and I explained how it happened but nothing more. I didn't talk about Jackson. None of us talked about our exes. Then Scott realized he had spent way too much time sitting here at the park talking to me. He had to go back to work.

"Hey Nikki, I have to go right now. Time flew by but I have to go back to work. I'm sorry. I wish I could sit around and talk."

"Oh, that's fine. I'm sorry for distracting you from work" I said.

He chuckled. "No, you didn't. I'll see you around?"

"Hehe yeah. Maybe we'll bump into eachother again like we did today" I said.

He smiled at me and waved a goodbye while walking his dogs. I smiled and waved back while he was leaving.

"He's so sweet" I mumbled.

"Who is?"

I jumped around to see Sam with a huge grin.

"Oh, no one. Nothing"

She gave me a suspicious look. And then pointed to Zach.

"He has to go now. He just came to say bye." She said.

"Oh, Well. Bye Zach. It was nice meeting you. "

"Bye Nikki. It was nice meeting you too and I'm so sorry to keep you waiting here for Sam and I for so long." He said.

"Oh it's okay. I spent my time we'll I smiled to myself.

"That's great." He said while smiling "I'll be going now. Bye babe. Bye Nikki." He said while walking away.

Sam quickly ran to him and put her arms around his neck and pecked him. She smiled at him and he smiled right back her. She came back running to me.

"So how was it?" I asked.

"Amazing. He makes me so happy." She blushed.

She put her hand out in front of mine and I stared at her with a puzzled look on my face.

"He gave me this." She said while pointing to the bracelet.

It was quite cute. "Actually. I have something to tell you." I said to Sam.

"What?"

I explained everything that happened when she was gone. I told her about Scott and I meeting and talking and what actually happened and why he couldn't come to meet me. I told her all the things he said and basically everything that happened.

"Awww. I'm so happy for you. He seems amazing." She whispered in awe.

"He is. I can't get enough of his chocolate puppy dog eyes. He was just so hot." A blush creeped onto my face. And Sam quickly noticed it. She winked at me and said "Ooh. Looks like someone has a crush."

"Noooooo" I said in defense. We sat there for a few more minutes talking about other things. Then we packed all our stuff and walked back home. I was so exhausted. It was about 5:25 pm. We rang the doorbell and grandma opened the door with a smile on her face. She welcomed us in. I smiled back at her and ran to my room and collapsed on my bed. I was beyond tired. I didn't realize I fell asleep till I felt my phone vibrate near me several times. Without looking at who it was I picked up. My voice sounding sleepy.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Nikki?" I recognised the voice immediately.

"Scott?"

"Yeah.  Sorry were you asleep?"

"Yeah... kinda" I laughed.

"Oh I'm sorry I bothered you. Go back to sleep."

"It's fine. I'm wide awake now. What's up?"

"Nothing really. I was just wondering what you were doing"

"Oh well I was just resting cause I was really tired. Tomorrow's going to be a hectic day" I said.

"NIKKI. NIKKI. NIKKI" I heard my grandma yell.

"Hey. Listen. Scott. I have to go. My grandmother's calling me. Can we talk later? I'll call you" I said.

"Yeah sure. Bye."

"Bye"

With that the line went dead. I ran out and saw grandma and Sam sitting at the table eating some pasta. Mmmm I thought to myself. This is going to be delicious. Pasta was my favourite. "Thanks Grandma" I said. We sat around the table talking. I was asking Sam about the new school since tomorrow was the first day of school. I was extremely nervous. After dinner. I helped grandma wash the dishes. 

I went upstairs to Sam's room later on. I knocked on the door.

"Hey Sam?" 

"Yeah?"

"Do you think you can help me pick an outfit for the first day of school? 

"Yeah sure"

We both ran down to my room and she looked through my closet. "Wow, you have a lot of amazing clothes."

"Haha yeah I guess." 

"Here wear this,"  she said.

She handed me a black skater dress with some lace. She went to my shoe rack and picked up some boots.

"Put on some accesories and you'll be fine. OH ANDDDDD!! Leave your hair down in curls, you look amazing."

"Thank you Sam, I love you, Good night!" I grinned.

I collapsed on my bed and took out my phone. I saw a text message from Scott.

"Goodnight :)". I smiled and quickly sent him a text back saying "Goodnight, sleep tight x"

I wanted to get some sleep tonight, I was so nervous for the first day of school. Butterflies were errupting inside my stomach at this moment. I tossed and turned in bed till I finally got some sleep. 

It was morning, sooner than expected.
