--Scott's POV--

After I sensed the terror in the deer, I knew something was wrong. Something dreadful was going to come our way. I noticed Nikki terribly shaking next to me and her heart beat racing faster and faster by the minute. I squeezed her hand in hope that she would feel a little better, but it didn't seem to help much. Since Lydia's car had to go for repairs, we all went in Stiles' car. We dropped off Lydia first, I sat in the back with Nikki trying to calm her down as she lay her head on my shoulder.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"I could be better." she whispered.

"Do you want to go home?"

"Do I have another option?"

"Um, you could come over to my place if you liked?"

"What about your mom?"

"She's got a night shift tonight."

"Yeah, I don't know why, but I feel safer with you."

Stiles took us to my house and I helped her down.

"Stiles, are you going to be okay?" I worriedly asked.

"That depends on how you define okay."

"Well..."

"I'm to upset to come up with a witty explanation." Stiles answered.

"Well, call me if you need anything, anything at all."

"Yeah okay."

Her steps slowed down as she saw me walk with her. We reached the door step and I grabbed the keys from my jean pocked and fumbled with them till he finally unlocked the door.

"Come inside."

We climbed the stairs and got inside my room which was at the end of the hallway on the right.

"You can sleep on the bed, I'll take a nap on the sofa."

She hesitated at first but then climbed onto my bed and got under the sheets, she seemed uncomfortable too because she was wearing a dress.

"Want one of my t-shirts?"

"Umm. Yes please?" she bit her lip.

I walked to the closet and picked out a grey t-shirt and a pair of Adidas shorts.

I handed it to her and pointed to my bathroom. "You can change in there."

She took the clothes out of my hand and made her way inside my bathroom.

I plopped myself down on the sofa, sighing as I did so. It felt great to finally relax after so much was happening, the Alpha pack, and now the strange animal behaviour.

Nikki was out minutes later. Her hair was in a high messy bun and she was wearing my clothes, the t-shirt was way too big for her, it looked like she didn't wear anything under the t-shirt she looked so simple yet so beautiful.
