When our classes were over, we went to FiFi's Frozen Treats. Our group studied there, ate ice cream, and talked. After we studied, we voted for a group name. We all decided on the name Girls Just Want To Have Fun Group. Later on ,I went for a walk in the town's park while Sophie went to the movies with Martha. As I was walking, I was reading a novel. I bumped into somebody, tripped over a rock, and fell onto the person.
"What in the world?!", the person exclaimed.
"I'm so sorry!", I said. "Here, let me help you up."
"I'm good", the person said.
As the person rose to his feet, I saw him more clearly and realized that it was a boy. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and had thick black glasses that were now broken.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!", I cried when I spotted the broken glass shards of the glasses.
The boy shrugged and said, "Don't worry. I have an extra pair." He looked at me with an intense blue gaze and finally said, "Hey, you're Laurel Robinson aren't you?"
"Yep!", I said. I tried to remember where I had heard of him before and the idea struck me like lightning. "You're Matt the smart one", I said.
"I wouldn't really call me smart", he said and kicked some pebbles that were on the ground.
I decided to change the subject by asking him a question. "What's your full name?"
As if he knew what I was trying to do, he said, "How about you go first."
"I'm Laurel Alexis Robinson", I replied. "Yeah, I know ugly middle name."
"No, it's a pretty middle name. My full name is Eric Matthew Roberts, but you can call me Matt", he said.
"Well, you can call me Laurel", I said with a smile. I looked up and saw the moon setting slightly and I looked at my watch. "I gotta go", I said.
"Me too. It was nice to meet you Laurel", Matt said.
"It was nice to meet you too", I replied happily.
Later on, I went to to the dorms. Sophie was sitting on the bed when I walked into the room.
"How was your walk?", she asked.
"Good", I blushed.
"Mine was great", Sophie said.
I blushed harder as I thought about Matt.
" Do you want to go to the store with me tomorrow evening?", she asked.
