The next morning, I got up and put my pink silk robe on. Last night when we had went inside to sign up, the lady at the front desk had told us to grab our books from her when we woke up the next morning. When I went to get the uniforms, I let out a squeal of amazement when I realized how precious the uniforms were. The shirts were pure white and the skirts were long and black. The dresses were white like the shirts.
"What are you going to wear?", Sophie asked.
"I want to wear the shirt and skirt", I replied.
"I'll wear the dress then", Sophie said with bright eyes.
I put on my outfit and went into the bathroom to brush out my long brown hair. I suddenly heard Sophie creep up on me and turned around.
"How do I look?", Sophie asked.
Her best friend had her dress on with pretty white dress shoes and her long braided black hair was over her shoulder.
"Can I please do your hair?", she pleaded with wide blue eyes.
"Sure", I said with a smile.
"Yay!", she said excitedly.
I sat there quietly as she brushed my hair. I couldn't wait to see what my hair would look like. So, when she saw finished, I leaped to my feet and looked in the mirror. She had down an amazing job. When they walked into the college's cafeteria, a girl waved for us to come over.
"You two look great!", she said.
It was Bella and Martha from last night. We had met them at the beach last night and had talked for an hour. Now they were sitting down and eating before the classes began for the day. Bella was tall with short golden hair with pale blue eyes while Martha had black hair and wide brown eyes.
"Do they want to join the club?", a voice asked.
I was bumped back to the present when I heard a voice. I looked back and saw a tall girl with long brown hair and freckles that shone as plain as day. Her hazel eyes had that intelligent look about them and I had taken a step back when I looked into those eyes.
"Who are you?", Sophie asked.
"I'm Susan Brown", she replied. Her voice had a country twang to it that made me laugh on the inside.
"It's a study group for girls", Bella said.
I turned around and whispered to Sophie. She nodded her head and I looked back at the others.
"We'll join you", I said after a few seconds.
"Sign your names here", Susan said.
She handed up a paper and I signed my name in the most perfect cursive signature.
"There's a meeting tonight", Bella said to me while Sophie signed her name below mine.
"Okay", I said and waited for Sophie to finish writing her name.
The bell suddenly rang and we all looked up at it.
"Time to go to class", Martha said.
I grabbed my stuff and raced off to class.
