16|CHRISTMAS PT2

Marigold woke up in cold sweats, clutching her heart as she tried to catch her breath. The holiday season was bringing back the shoved down memories. She slipped out of bed and quietly wandered down to the basement.

"Steven?" She gently shook the boy and jumped back when he shot up in bed.

"Shit, Mar. What's wrong? It's three in the morning." Hyde mumbled, lieing back down as the girl lowered her head.

"I had a nightmare, can I sleep with you tonight?" She asked quietly, playing with her hands nervously as she worried he would say no.

"Sure." He groaned, lifting up the blanket for her to slip in. Goldie cuddled close to his warm body and rested her head on his chest. "What are you wearing? Your nipples are rock hard."

"Your t-shirt and girl boxers." Goldie answered, playing with his hair as she closed her eyes. "Why? What are you wearing?"

"Boxers." Hyde replied, holding the girl close as her cold skin touched him. "Want to talk about it?"

"Not yet but I promise one day." She sighed, feeling tired after a long day.

"All right, let's sleep." He kissed her forehead gingerly and stroked the hair off her face.

"Thank you, Steven." She hummed and felt her eyes grow heavy as her breathing slowed, sleep consuming her mind.

When Marigold woke up later that morning feeling refreshed but alone. She turned over and patted the space beside her, feeling it empty and cold meaning Hyde had been gone for a while.

She sneaked into the kitchen and grabbed a seat at the small table, noticing Hyde watching her with a smirk.

"Morning." Goldie greeted Eric and Hyde while grabbing a waffle off the plate in the middle of the table.

"Morning." Hyde winked at her and grabbed her thigh under the table, stroking the smooth skin as he continued eating his breakfast.

"Who is driving to church?" She questioned as the three teenagers finished off their breakfast.

"Me." Eric stated as if the answer was obvious. "I don't trust your driving."

"Thanks." She rolled her eyes and cleaned up all their dishes before leaving to get dressed. Goldie pulled on a pair of blue cord flares and a striped blouse. She ran down the stairs and dived into the back seats of the Vista Cruiser. "I'm not late."

"You are." Hyde laughed and looked at her over his shoulder. "You are always late."

"Keep being a dick and I won't share my new weed I got, it's from Los Angeles." Marigold teased and kissed his lips before sitting back down, leaning her head on the gingers shoulder.

"You're my favourite."

"And mine." Donna added, patting the girls head as they pulled up in the church carpark, Jackie, Fez and Kelso already there. The group of teens sat around the stage reading scripts and setting up the scene.

"Okay, Kelso, you are now playing a Wise Man." Eric announced to them all.

"Or, a space Wise Man." Kelso suggested eagerly. Marigold bit her lip to stop herself from laughing as Fez wandered into the room fully dressed as a shepherd.

"How come the foreign guy has to play the shepherd?" Fez finally complained. "I have never herded sheep in my life. Well, once, as a favour. Why can't I be a life guard?"

"Or a space life guard." Kelso pitched again, getting an agreement from Fez.

"Then I could herd all the ladies into the pool." He stated excitedly. "Into the pool, ladies! Now, that's a good role."

"Okay, uh, everyone? Everybody?" Eric called out to them all, gaining everyones attention as he beckoned them over. "Um, all of your ideas are all, um, stupid. Okay, moving on. At the end of the play, when Santa comes in that door-"

"Oh! How about-" Kelso cut him off.

"Kelso, I swear to God, if you say space Santa, I'm gonna kick you in the head." The boy shut him down with a threat causing Kelso to slowly lower his arm.

"Nevermind."

"Jackie, let's go try on our outfits." Marigold smiled at the girl and grabbed her hand, dragging her to the "dressing room".

"Goldie, you look beautiful." Jackie said in awe as the two girls emerged back into the main room fully dressed in their costumes.

"Holy shit, you look amazing." Hyde approached her as she spun around and showed off her white satin dress with a lace up bodice.

"Is this dress making you think of dirty things?" Goldie joked quietly, wrapping her arms around his neck and drawing him close.

"Very dirty things." He answered with a smirk, kissing her lips softly. "After the show you and I are going to ruin this dress."

"I can't wait." She pulled him close and connected their lips, passionately kissing him before they were forced to pull apart by Eric's loud fake coughs.
