it's been a weird week or so and i don't know how to feel about it and i don't wanna annoy my group chat and jacob can't respond to my texts at a normal time because he's in sweden right now and i talk to malia too much so i'm talking about it here. :).
i don't really know how to start it, so let's just start with outer banks.
i watched it and i didn't like it and i'm just now realizing that i don't have enough energy right now to type about it.
so, let's actually begin with some designs because they've been iffy recently.
i'll chalk it up to the pennsylvania teams having very not good color pallets, even though i would love to have a flyers jersey.
and now i'm realizing that i also don't have enough energy to type about this either.
okay, writing?
sure.
i'm really bad at it.
i don't like what i write and i know it's cliche, but if i could rewrite my books, i totally would. but, there are much more important things that i need to do and i'm not getting any of them done.
but, let's just talk about writing for a sec.
i have completely given up on the hoodie project. i'm not motivated in the siltiest, but i still wanna keep it up to have it on record that yes, i did come up with that story. i'm not in the mood for someone to plagiarize an actually good idea. and that goes the same for the kids are alright.
but, if you want to copy and plagiarize ruined youth, bro, be my guest. you could probably write it a thousand times better than me and there's enough stories on this hellsite that are close enough to it that no one would care — except for that one person who's coming after everyone leaving passive aggressive comments and telling you to take your book down because both of our stories are about boys at boarding school and something might happen. oh my god, what an original storyline.
jesus.
like yeah, of course you're worried about your book being plagiarized. but, that doesn't give you an excuse to send death threats to people just because someone's story is based in the same city as yours and they included "eating disorders" in the warnings.
things like that make me want to delete every account i have on here and honestly, i probably should. my mental health would be a whole lot better if i did.
also, on the topic of cities, i'm gonna complain some more and take some points from some things malia has said because she's brought up some good things.
so, for those of you who don't know, i am in vancouver, bc for about nine months out of the year now. i think it's safe to say that i know what the city and province are like — and also what sport teams are there.
now, if you are going to write a story based in vancouver, be my guest. it's gorgeous there and it's really cool. but, if you're going to base it there, do some research.
case one: it rains. and it rains a lot. it rains almost everyday for about forty weeks out of the year. so, don't go out and tell me that it's the perfect weather outside. guess what? it isn't.
case two: ubc. ubc is basically equivalent to the likes of harvard and yale, based on my knowledge and research. so, don't say that it's a school for lowlives. that's not true.
case three: professional sports leagues and their teams across canada. the mlb and nba have one canadian team and their both based in toronto. the nhl has seven teams. the nfl has zero. if you're going to have a football prospect in your story and you want them to get drafted, cool. make sure that they're getting drafted to a team in the states. and if you want them to be drafted to some mediocre team, have them get drafted in the cfl. just decide.
anyways, that's enough about me complaining about people not realizing that canada's not like the states.
okay, the last thing i'm gonna talk about is youtube. some of my friends were saying that i should start a youtube channel and i laughed at them.
but, i actually thought about it and realizing, hey, i'm minimally funny and use adobe products. why not?
so, that also happened :/
unexplainable pictures from my camera roll time!:
i'm not gonna say anything because eight people are going to get offended, but all i'm gonna say is that i disagree about what people are saying on hockey twitter.
two years in a row, baby.
we want fish sticks.
