Jam (loceit fluff)

Logan's POV:

        I was sitting down at the table completing my daily ritual of drinking coffee and continuing the book I had started on the night before. From the corner of my eye, I noticed a familiar figure creep in.

     "Salutations, Jam." I said in my usual monotone voice, barely looking up from the current page. 

     "Good morning, log-" He started, but then faltered, tilting his head slightly. "Jam?" The slippery snake asked.

     I glanced up at him for a moment then sighed, placing a bookmark in between the book and setting it aside. "Yes. Patton suggested the name earlier." I noticed him obviously still confused as to the origin of the nickname, so i complied. "I'll admit I was muddled as well when he first suggested it. He brought it to my attention that, when taken into account that your name is Janus, ergo the original nickname, Jan, and then my unabashed love for crofter's jam, I would say it's quite fitting."

     Janus stared at me for a second then chuckled, taking the seat next to me. "If I am not considered on the same level as crofter's to you, then that isn't enough," he said with a genuine smile. It took me a moment to comprehend what he meant, but after I recalled his lying habit, I returned the facial gesture.

     "Love, even with my enjoyment of the tasteful fruit spread, nothing could hold my love as much as you."

aaaaaa sorry this was so short! i'm still getting used to writing fanfiction (and just writing in general, lol). anyways, hope you all enjoyed this cute little interaction <3

also this was based off of a conversation i had with my girlfriend after she had requested me to write this ship. again, requests are (almost) always open!!!
