Cody's point of view

Catherine (y/n): "Cody come on sweetie its time to get up for school"

Cody: "oh mom do I have to?"

Catherine (y/n): "I know sweetie but come on, otherwise you're gonna be late and get into trouble"

I climbed out of bed and quickly ran to the bathroom. Every morning me and my sister Sophia always compete to see who gets to the bathroom first. I saw Sophia come out of her bedroom the same time I came out of my room and we were both running on the landing. I was just a little bit ahead of Sophia and I managed to get to the bathroom before she did and closed the door.

Sophia: "Cody you said I can go first!"

Cody: "sorry phia maybe you'll have better luck tomorrow"

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

As I was downstairs sorting out Cody's and Sophia's lunches for school I can hear them both competing for the bathroom again like they do every morning, I couldn't help but smile and laugh slightly. They may wind each other up on occasions but they always have their moments where you can clearly see they love each other.

One thing I don't have to worry about is Cody will always protect his little sister, very recently I was called into the school by the principal because Cody was fighting with another boy, all because of the boy was being mean to Sophia. I have to admit that conversation was a little bit awkward in a funny way, I seriously wanted to tell the principal there and then I allow my son to fight if he has to, to protect himself and protect his loved ones.

As I was almost finished with the kids pack lunches Zak walked in from his latest investigation.

Cody & Sophia: "dad!"

I turned around just at the right moment to see both Cody and Sophia running up to Zak and giving him a hug.

Zak: "Hey kids"

As Zak wrapped his arms around Cody and Sophia, he looked at me with his usual smile on his face before he came over to me and kissed me.

Zak: "Hey beautiful"

I couldn't help but blush a little before I wrapped my arms around Zak.

Catherine (y/n): "you're home early"

Zak: "yeah I thought I'd get home sooner so I can either take the kids to school or pick them up"

Catherine (y/n): "Well you certainly did that"

Cody: "mom we're gonna be late"

Catherine (y/n): "OK let's go"

Zak: "have a great day you two, I'll pick you up at home time"

Sophia: "bye dad"

Cody: "bye"

So Cody and Sophia got into the car and I started the car and made my way to their school.

Cody's point of view

I don't normally mind school as I love seeing all of my friends, I even love some of the subjects I'm taking too. But lately I haven't been enjoying school, I haven't even told my mom or dad yet but I'm actually getting picked on.

I'm getting picked on because of what my mom and dad does, the bullies always assume I can see ghosts too and they pick on me because I'm strange. As much as I love my mom and dad I hate that I always get bullied for them being paranormal investigators.

Catherine (y/n): "OK you two.. have a nice day and I'll see you when you get home, I love you "

Sophia gave mom a kiss before she headed out of the car.

Sophia: "love you mom"

Then I unclipped my seat belt and gave mom a kiss too before I got out of the car. Sure enough both me and Sophia was walking into school.

Sophia: "have you told mom or dad that you're getting bullied yet"

Cody: "no not yet, I will do but I just don't know what to say to them"

Sophia: "Cody they'll both help you through this"

Cody: "I know they will sis"

Jayden: "Cody, Sophia wait up"

We both turned around to see our cousin Jayden coming over to us.

Jayden: "Cody have you told your mom or dad about you yet?"

Cody: "no not yet, please say you haven't told your mom or dad"

Jayden: "I actually did bro but they said they won't tell them until you tell them. My dad has also said to me to tell you 'if you want to talk to anyone, you can always come and see your uncle Jay'"

Cody: "tell him I said thanks"

Jayden: "anything for my best friend and cousins"

I'm so glad I have Jayden around, we have been best friends ever since we were babies. My mom and auntie Morgan always tell us stories about us when we was little.

Sophia: "I'm off to class, I'll see you both at lunch"

Cody: "see you later sis"

Jayden: "see you later Sophia"

Then me and Jayden carried on walking to our class. As we walked inside our class I saw Ethan sitting at his table with his friends. Ethan and his friends are the ones who's been bullying me.

Ethan: "Freak!"

All of Ethan's friends laughed with him, then his friend Jamie said something too.

Jamie: "go home Bagans, we don't want any ghosts around us"

Ethan: "you're dad is a Fake! There's no such things as ghosts"

I felt so angry, I actually went to punch him in the face but Jayden stopped me. As I was being stopped everyone in the class was jeering on trying to cause us to have a fight.

Jayden: "Cody stop! he's not even worth it"

Ethan: "Yeah Cody, do as you're told. Go and join your other freaky friend at your table"

Jayden: "what did you just say?"

Ethan: "you heard me Wasley, both of your dad's are a bunch of losers"

I can even see Jayden getting angry so we both quickly went to sit down before we get into trouble with our teacher. As soon as we sat down our teacher Mr Myles greeted the class before he sat down at his desk to do the registration.

As Mr Myles was doing the registration and my name was called Ethan made a snide comment.

Mr Myles: "Cody Bagans"

Ethan: "Boo"

The whole class excluding Jayden laughed.

Mr Myles: "Ethan, that's enough of that! Everyone please be quiet"

Today has already turned into hell and it's not even been an hour yet. I just want to go home.
