Chaos Around The world

news reporter: "breaking news around the world, Covid 19 cases have yet again reached the millions here in the USA and everyone else in the world. The president is here to address the nation"

The president: "our battle with the first covid outbreak destroyed the world and now again it has reached the same breaking point. It has come to the point where I feel is the right time is to close everything and lock everywhere down. We must flatten this curve now more than we have ever done before"

Zak's point of view

Panic around the world has struck again and this time it feels worse than it did the first time this outbreak arrived. As the president addressed the nation with another lockdown I can feel all the energy around me, its heavy, full of panic and pure chaos.

It's so heavy I can barely breathe. Even though we have been through a lockdown before this one feels different than last time. My head feels like it's spinning from everything around me, I put my head into my hands and tried to calm down my racing heart and spinning thoughts.

I was so concentrating I didn't hear or even feel my loving wife's arms wrap around me.

Catherine (y/n): "everything will be OK baby, we've been through this before we can get through this again"

Zak: "I know we will baby, I just can't calm these thoughts and feelings down"

As soon as I said that Catherine (y/n) wrapped her arms around me tight and held me in her comforting embrace and love.

Cody's point of view

I was in school when it all happened, when the news came out that the whole country is going into lockdown. I felt scared and worried, what's going to happen? Will we all be OK? Will we be able to see our families?

As I was sitting in the cafeteria waiting for Sophia and Jayden to meet me from their classes, all I suddenly over come with the feeling of pure panic and fear. But these aren't my feelings... Sure I'm feeling scared and worried but this feeling is pure panic.

My heart was starting to race and I couldn't calm down.....

Jayden: "you OK Cody?"

I looked up as Jayden placed his hand on my shoulder and in that instant I felt some sort of calming energy coming from him, I started to calm down.

Cody: "yeah I'm OK, you OK?"

Jayden: "yeah I'm OK, that sucks about what's going on isn't it"

Cody: "I know, I just hope we can all still see each other through this lockdown"

Jayden: "I'm sure our parents will come up with a plan. We'll still see each other"

As me and Jayden were talking more Sophia came over to us. She looked so scared and I can even see she's been crying.

Cody: "Sophia.. Are you OK?"

Then I can see her tears starting to fall again.

Sophia: "Cody I'm scared"

As soon as I heard my sister say she's scared I immediately got up and went over to her and hugged her. Even Jayden came over and hugged Sophia too.

Cody: "everything will be OK sis"

Sophia: "I want to go home"

Cody: "I'll call mom"

Jayden carried on holding Sophia and comfort her whilst I called mom.

Catherine (y/n): "Hey Cody, is everything OK?"

Cody: "hi mom I'm OK but Sophia is scared and she wants to come home"

Catherine (y/n): "OK, I'll phone the school's office and tell them I'm coming to pick you, Sophia and Jayden up"

Cody: "OK mom, see you soon. Love you"

Catherine (y/n): "love you too Cody, I'll be as quick as I can"

I ended the call to my mom and went back over to Sophia and Jayden.

Cody: "mom said she's going to call the office and tell them she's picking us all up"

Jayden: "see Sophia told you everything's going to be OK"

Ever so slightly I saw a little smile appear on Sophia's face.

Cody: "come on, let's head towards the office to wait for mom"

I grabbed my bag from the table and we walked to the school office, but as we was almost at the office Ethan came over to me.

Ethan: "where do you think you're going Bagans?"

Cody: "if you must know, I'm going home"

Ethan: "oh really, I was hoping you'd stay longer so I can see you before I won't be able to see you for a long time"

Jayden: "just stop Ethan, Cody and me haven't done anything to you. So why are you being like this to Cody and me?"

Ethan: "because of your dad's, both of your dad's and uncles are so stupid. There's no such things as ghosts. So I don't get why they're trying to proove that they do exist. Surely they can find better jobs"

Cody: "just leave our family alone"

Ethan: "oh I would, but I can't"

Jayden: "you better stop because Cody and Sophia's mom is on her way to get us and she won't be happy to see you bullying us"

Ethan: "please she won't tell me off, she scares to easily so I'll scare her"

Something in me flipped, and I was filled with so much anger. With all the strength I can gather in me I clenched my fist up and punched Ethan in the face. I hit him so hard his nose started to bleed.

Cody: "don't ever talk about my mom like that again!"

I carefully but firmly grabbed Sophia's hand and we walked to the school office. As soon as we got there I saw my mom waiting for us. Sure enough as Sophia saw mom she ran over to her and hugged her.

Catherine (y/n): "there you all are, are you all ready to go?"

Jayden: "I am"

Cody: "me too"

Catherine (y/n): "come on, let's get going home"

20 minutes later and we were pulling up outside Uncle Jay's house to drop off Jayden.

Jayden: "thank you so much auntie Catherine (y/n) hopefully see you soon"

Catherine (y/n): "that's OK sweetie, come here let me give you a big hug before you go inside"

So with that mom gave Jayden a big hug before he started making his way inside his house.

Cody: "see you soon Jayden"

Jayden: "see you soon Cody"

After we saw Jayden go inside mom started the car again and we were soon on our way home.
