Wren's POVStretching, I nearly passed out right then and there. Me and Tyline were back to back in Linzy's room, researching. Researching the son of a bitch that took away the best person both of us had ever met.
The eldest Beeker child, older sister of Wren & Kenzic, Dove Shi Beeker.
Dove and I walked towards the park. It was a weekend and I wanted to walk the trail. Dove was an inside person, but willingly put time aside for her family.
It was like any other weekend walk, we came back out at sunset. Just as we began to walk across the park, everything went to shit.
A few villains wrecked havoc on the park, and the supposed leader took Dove hostage. He told everyone to stay back, and talked about some damn reward money. Heroes showed up to the scene, which gave me a bit of a fright but I ignored it.
As soon as the villain threatened to kill Dove, I tried to rush in. However, a hero stopped me. I only realized Tyline was also being held back when I started hearing his screams. I wasn't too quiet myself, but that's beside the point.
At that point I had enough and just flat out bit the hero. They released their grip just enough for me to slip out and start sprinting towards Dove. It wasn't in slow motion, nor did time stop for a second.
The blood of my sister spattered the ground in front of me. My clothes also got the brute of it, but neither were as bad as my mind. It went blank, the bloody sight of my sister was practically running in my veins.
I don't remember much afterwards, but apparently Tyline had also slipped away from the hero. He had rushed over and we sat there until paramedics showed up.
"You look like you're about to pass out." A voice interrupted my thoughts.
I turned to Ty, taking in his overly tired expression and dark eye bags.
"You don't look much better." I chuckled.
We both reluctantly agreed to get some sleep. Not two minutes later we were out like a light.

3rd POVInk black eyes were the first to open amongst the group. Linzy yawned and sat up, glad that she was a morning person. Lin, on the other hand, was definitely not.
Fighting for control over the same body can be tiring when you don't get along. Thankfully, Linzy and Lin were fine with sharing a body. It was funny, in a way. A drawback of Linzy's forza is an altered personality stuck in her mind, she even gave her a name.
Linzy walked right over to Wren, shaking the girl awake. Wren groaned and cracked open one eye. With the best puppy dog eyes Linzy could muster, she spoke.
"Could you maybe pretty please make breakfast?" Linzy whined.
Sighing, Wren gave a thumbs up and stumbled to the kitchen. She first made her coffee, just in case she was too tired to function. Afterwards, she began making something simple, eggs, bacon, and French toast.
The smell was quick to wake everyone else up. Surprisingly, Tyline began a game of I See With My Little Eye to pass the time. Breakfast was finished, everyone was called to the table, and they ate.
The group talked and hung out for another hour or two, then people began to trickle out. Seeing as it was a school night, Linzy went to bed early.
Some random building
3rd POVThe door to the roof slammed open, Mirgan Warson panting from the long run. Just that evening, the vigilante Magicmind had made a group chat between four heroes in training and their 'team'. Then, they had accidentally called the group chat, revealing they were wounded on a roof.
Mirgan couldn't tell you why they wanted to help the vigilantes. The duo just seemed too familiar to the 16 year old for them to ignore.
Kneeling, Mirgan began tending to Magicmind's wounds. Mindfucker had refused their help, so in less than half an hour both were standing. With some help from Magic, Mirgan was able to convince the duo to relax for a bit.
"So, why did you two decide to do what you do?" Mirgan inquired.
"I got roped into it because of them and a drawback of my forza." Magic commented, pointing to Mind.
"What kind of drawback?" Mirgan titled their head.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it. This isn't an interrogation, either." Mind huffed, looking up from their phone.
Before anyone could reply, the door burst open again. This time, Kenzic Beeker was the one standing in the doorway.
"Mindfucker! I'd like to make a deal with you!" He declared.
"Woah, that's one hell of a greeting."
