Stopin' Town
Igni's POV"Well, what an honor! If it isn't the infamous vigilantes, Mindfucker and Magicmind. Oh, apologies, I meant Wren R. Beeker and Linzy R. Jegdough," The villain smiled wide, "How have you and your dear little 'sister' been, Wren?"
'Oh shit.'
I mean, I already knew, but it was still surprising to hear so bluntly. Everyone else on the other hand, was purely shell shocked. Eztli turned to me, a brutal grin stretching wide across his face.
"Why do you look so shocked, Igni? You already knew!" He laughed.
My friends whipped around and stared at me, surprise written in every crevice of their faces.
"Igni, you knew?! But how'd you know?" Lide exclaimed.
Eztli chuckled, "Shall I tell them? That their little 'cinnamon roll' was the enemy? How much do you think it'd break their poor, little hearts?"
I hung my head slightly, feeling my friends shuffle away from me as soon as they could comprehend it. Looking back up, I stood up and launched myself at the villain. He grabbed me by the neck, staring fiercely into my golden brown eyes.
I went limp, staring weakly at him.
"Whether they want me to or not, I still want to help. You've gone too far too many times." I deadpanned.
Eztli threw me backwards, my head landing on the concrete first. I sat up weakly, feeling someone shuffle behind me and hold me up.
"Well would you look at that! The little pawn ended up giving up. I expected more from my right hand woman, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose." The man laughed darkly.
I blinked a few times, watching Wren and Linzy jump up and into a fight with the villain. They only got a few hits in, as Eztli's brute strength easily overtook most attacks. I could faintly see Mirgan join them, while Lide helped me up.
I lifted my hand and aimed. If I fucked up, we might be good as dead. I waited, focusing as much as I could.
"Everyone, MOVE!" I shouted, watching the other three scramble out of the way.
I shot my hand out. The feeling of skin and muscle was brief, but utterly disgusting. He stumbled, allowing me just enough time to wrap my other arm around him.
I let out a short breath of relief, 'that was...oddly easy.' I thought.
Just as I turned my head the slightest to look for my friends, I felt something stab clean through my forearm. I screamed and unlatched my arms, the blood creating a trail to me. Looking up, I watched horrified as Eztli licked some of the blood off a knife.
I turned to shove Lide out of the way when he began to activate my forza. However, someone beat me to it. All three of us landed on the ground, my head banging off the ground once again.
I could just barely register Wren's voice and the faint sound of a short monologue. However, sirens overpowered all sounds, cutting Eztli off. I heard a few shouts and commands before I was being carried away.

"Because of Eztli's injury, he was slowed down just enough for Gold to inform the cops and some hero's. It turned out that he had canceled out a lot of quirks, but they managed to get him into custody. Wren and Linzy weren't found out, luckily. After the man's arrest, the two continued with their vigilante work.
It didn't take long for Kenzic to be released from the hospital, and Wren told her brother and parents about the whole vigilante situation. She was supported, of course. Wren and Kenzic's mother eventually had birth, and the child was named Dove.
Kenzic graduated and became a hero, and Linzy and I hooked up within the remaining school year. It took another year before Mirgan and Wren announced they were dating, though. Years later, Linzy and I were married while Mirgan and Wren got engaged!
Kenzic found a girlfriend which he plans to propose to. Lide and Gold went through a few people, but found their happy ever after. It also took a while for me to be trusted again, but I proved to be quite trustworthy!"
Wide, child-like honey eyes widened further. She clapped, giggling all the while.
"That was awesome, auntie! Could you tell me another?" Dove asked.
I smiled wide, but shook my head gently. Glancing up, I heard everyone be called to their places. I picked up the little pipsqueak and handed her to her mother. Lining up with the rest of the bridesmaids, music began gently playing.
Wren walked down the aisle in her white three piece tuxedo, a wedding veil placed upon her head. Her short, light brown hair pinned up in short braids. She arrived right in front of Mirgan and the pastor.
Mirgan wore a white dress, a non-binary flag pattern sewn perfectly into the bottom of it. They held the bouquet, while their dark brown hair was styled into a French braided ponytail.
The two looked stunning, to sum it up. The pastor began, as well as the official uniting of the couple.
~Small time skip~
"Death won't do us part, I'll be with you even after mine and yours last breath. This is my last promise to you." Wren ended her vows with.
Before I knew it, the wedding was over and we were all drinking and talking. Congratulations and joy spread through the air as the night went on. During the bouquet throw, Kenzic's girlfriend ended up catching it. The look on Kenzic's face was quite amusing.
Just like that, a new chapter opened for them, while this book ended.
In the end, all of it was only possible because of a single choice. What Came With A Choice, is what brought this couple together. It's what saved the city from Eztli's rule.
༄༄༄༄
