Being An Octuplet

Cheer Captain?

Today is the official cheer tryouts, I signed up just yesterday so I hope improvisation is good enough

Cheerleading in my old school was seriously competitive, I was one of the best cheerleaders in the school but I had to leave, I doubt this will be the same since it's just for Lason's football team

I throw on some leggings and a crop hood-jacket with my converse and a sling backpack

Breakfast was quick today considering the fact that my brothers had to be at school early for their various sports and finally I had something to keep myself busy

I step out of my car with Antonio opening the door for me, I dont get as much attention though, I'm not ugly but Im not pretty either so I don't get much attention unlike my brothers

I spot Celine and Tori at the entrance

"I didn't know you were rich" Celine says gaping at the limo currently driving out of school

"I'm not rich" I say rolling my eyes

"Yeah and the hot new septuplets are your siblings" Tori says

My mouth drops but then I realize that was a joke

"You'd be surprised" I say and smile to myself

"Anyways are you guys trying out for the cheer team" I say changing the subject

"Na" they chorus

"Why" my face changes

"Cheers not our thing" Celine says

"But I'm doing it" I say

"And you guys look like you're good dancers" I practically whine

"Pleaseeeeeeeeee" I beg

"Stop that, everyone's looking" Tori says scanning the hallway

"I won't till you agree" I say suggestively

"Fine"

...

The day goes by faster than I expected, I don't know if it's cause I'm starting to like this place or if it's cause I'm excited for tryouts

But soon it's time and I pull Celine and Tori with me to the field where the auditions are holding

We quickly change to our practice clothes, I packed a tie and dye tube top with Adidas shorts and my sneakers

We finish changing and take a seat on the bleachers and wait for our turn

I'm really disappointed, everyone here only does jumps and flips for their audition, no music and those that use music just jump and flip while music is being played

Even Celine and Tori did the same thing

"Hey, why are the football team here" I ask

"For some reason, the school decides that the football team being here is essential for auditions" Celine says

"Why" I ask

"I really don't know" Tori says

"Anyways, your routine was soooo lame, I mean who does jumps and flips for a cheer audition" I say

"It's the only thing everyone's ever done" they respond

"Wow" I say

"But I thought you'd be fine with it, since you planned on improvising" Tori asks

"I could improvise a whole routine" I roll my eyes

It's finally my turn as they call my name to the floor, I kinda feel embarrassed because I'm the only one in a tube top and shorts, everyone (apart from Celine and Tori) already have their uniforms
