florence rolled her eyes as she listened to the teacher drone on and on about the civil war. she would rather mop the ocean than listen to this bullshit.
rory was no help either. he was currently asleep across her lap, the teacher not noticing the sleeping boy since a couple of buff jocks sat infront of them so he couldn't really see.
she sighed as she played with his hair, now understanding why gabriel loved doing it so much. it was soft as hell.
making a mental note to ask him what he uses for his hair, she stopped when she felt eyes on her and snapped her head up, her eyes quickly searching the room.
at the desk next to hers and rory's, one of the golden eyed beauties was staring at her. how she hadn't noticed him there before, she doesn't know. making eye contact with him, she became mesmerized by his golden orbs and kind of messy but cute blonde hair.
goosebumps raised across her skin and a sense of coldness overtook her. she tried not to show it on her face but this only confirmed for her that these people were definitely not normal humans or humans at all.
before their little staring contest could last any longer, rory stirred in his sleep, causing florence to jump and look down.
she had forgotten her friend had been asleep on her lap. when she looked back up at the blonde beauty, he was no longer looking her way, instead he was instead engaged in a hushed conversation with the small, fairy looking girl next to him.
florence frowned a little, a quick thought of wanting to keep looking at the cute boy next to her cross her mind before she shook her head.

she was not supposed to take interest in anyone! she was in hiding! oh my gods why was she like this.
she internally grimaced and clicked her tongue when the bell rang. she watched the blonde beauty and his fairy companion zoom out the room as she shook rory awake.
"get up, sunny boy, you got biology with your lover boy next period." she said fixing her hair and rory's hair a bit as she waited for the boy to compose himself before the two linked arms and walked out the classroom. as they were walking out, alister was walking in.
"hey bubba, how was math?" she asked, pulling the boy into a hug, noting that he wasn't as anxious as earlier.
"kinda funny, fox was annoying the teacher with his sarcastic comments" alister chuckled as florence and rory shook their heads with knowing smiles. typical gabriel.
alister told florence where the math room was before he hugged rory goodbye, receiving his kiss on the cheek from said boy before walking into the classroom.
"i'm gonna go find my asshole of a boyfriend." rory declares before quickly hugging florence, giving her her kiss on the cheek before disappearing.
florence shook her head with a light smile on her face. she loved her friends. they were family. she shook off her thoughts and made her way towards where alister said the math room was.

florence swung her feet back and forth as she doodled in her notebook. she was just about out of it until she once again, felt eyes on her.
she turned and locked eyes with a bronze haired boy that looked like he was constipated. said boy frowned a bit, almost has if he had heard what she thought.
she tilted her head a bit, taking a mental note, before breaking eye contact as the bell rang, quickly grabbing her things and slipping out the door. she waited for her friends before linking arms with alister as the four made their way to the gym.

ah, volleyball.
they were only doing drills so the quartet stood in a circle and passed the ball around, chatting and joking around. as she set the ball, she could hear the girls from earlier gossiping about her friends and her a little ways away.
"she's the only girl! i know he said that's his sister but what about the other two? she's so lucky, she has two boys practically swooning for her, angela!" the brunette squawked, making florence scrunch up her nose.
"jessica, you don't know that! plus i heard that her brother is gay and is dating the sarcastic one. to be honest, they kind of remind me of the cullens. they stay to their own little group, don't talk to anyone, dating each other." angela whispered as florence scoffed quietly.
did they really have nothing better to do?
she listened as jessica agreed and didn't notice the ball she was supposed to receive fly past her. she groaned as the boys complained and clowned her for it.
she swiftly flicked them off and chased after the ball, which had decided to roll to the other side of the gym.
"dumbass ball" she muttered as someone picked it up for her. and not just someone, the blonde beauty to be exact.
"i uh assume this is yours ma'am" he said softly, handing her the ball. florence's eyes widened slightly at the detection of a southern accent as she flashed cute smile.
"yes it is, thank you sir" she beamed before whipping around and walking back to her group as they yelled at her to pick up the pace which resulted in her yelling and calling them the three stooges.
as they went back to passing the ball, she thought for a moment.
