Chapter Sixteen, The Coronation and the Wedding

It has been two months since the war ended and Calén was finally fully healed after having the life sucked out of him and being injured during the Battle of Gondor. Frodo and Sam were both finally fully recovered from their ordeal of travelling to Mordor by themselves when they had learned Calén was okay they had rushed to see him wrapping him tight hugs. The City was finally fully repaired and it was safe to walk around the City once again. All of the injured had been healed and there had been a number of funerals for those who had perished in the siege on the city. Now though, it was Aragorn's Coronation he was to be crowned King of Gondor. Eomer had been crowned King of Rohan. And Calén the Prince of Lothlorien would soon become the Consort of Gondor in the Wedding after the Coronation.

Calén wasn't allowed to see Aragorn until after the Ceremony he was dressed in bright green Elvish robes, his raven hair was brushed to perfection and styled with a few Celtic braids curtesy of Arwen with his circlet weaving through his hair. As the ceremony started he stood between his mother and father hidden by bangers of Gondor. Eomer stood near the steps with the other men of Rohan and Eoywen was standing opposite him with Boromir and Faramir and the people of Gondor

Calén watched proudly as Aragorn kneeled before Gandalf and Gimli (who was holding the crown on a cushion), tears shinned in his eyes as he watched Gandalf lower the crown onto Aragorn's head. "Now come the days of the King," Gandalf called out his voice ringing out to all who'd gathered. "May they be blessed." Gandalf said as he smiled at Aragorn. Aragorn let out a small sigh as he stood turning around to face his people his eyes briefly searching for Calén even though he know he was hidden from his view as everyone cheered for the new King.

"This day does not belong to one man, but to all." Aragorn says softly as the cheers died down. "Let us together rebuild this world, that we may share in the days of peace." He continued eliciting another round of cheers. As the cheers went on white blossom petals were blown around them off of the trees as Aragorn started to sing the most beautiful Elvish song.

When he finished the song he walked down the steps Gimli beside him and some guards behind them. As he passed the people of Gondor Boromir, Eoywen and Faramir smiled and bowed to him Aragorn smiled and bowed back to his friends as he continued to greet his people. As he walked past the people of Rohan the two Kings came towards each other and bowed their heads to one another. Legolas and Haldir came forward smiling at their friend, Haldir in bluish-white clothes and Legolas in silver-white clothes the rest of the Elves from Imlardis and The Greenwood behind them. They nodded their heads to Aragorn as the three of them put their hands on each other's shoulders making a triangle formation. "Hanon Le." Aragorn greeted his friends.

Legolas and Haldir shared a smirk confusing Aragorn as their eyes flickered to the Elves of Lothlorien. As he faced them they bowed and nodded their heads to him, Aragorn smiled at Galadriel and Celeborn who smirked pulling away the banner behind them revealing a very healthy and very happy Calén. Aragorn started at his beloved awe struck by his beauty a blush forming on Calén's cheeks.

As soon as Calén handed the banner he was holding off to Haldir, Aragorn pulled Calén into a passionate kiss spinning him around in his arms as everyone clapped happily for their King. Calén reared his head against Aragorn's rubbing his thumb on his cheek bone smiling and sharing sweet little kisses. When the two pulled apart they continued to greet everyone until they came across their dear friends. Frodo, Sam, Merry And Pippin started to bow to them when Aragorn raised a hand stopping them. "My friends," he said gently. "You bow to no one." He said as he and Calén bowed to them causing everyone to turn and bow to the four young Hobbits. The four young Hobbits became very embarrassed and overwhelmed at the large amount of people bowing to them especially Frodo.

After they finished greeting all of their people it was time for the wedding in the gardens with Gandalf presiding over it. As Lord Celeborn gave his son away he and Lady Galadriel had tears shinning brightly in their eyes at just how handsome he looked. Once the wedding ceremony was over another ceremony took place crowning Calén Consort of Gondor.

That night the celebrations went on for hours as they not only celebrated the end of the war but also the joining of four great Kingdoms. Peace and prosperity rained in Middle Earth for the first time in years. And for the first time in history all of Middle Earth was united as one thanks to friendship and love. Gondor and Rohan were untitled stronger than they ever had been before with the betrothal contract between Eoywen and Boromir and both human kingdoms were tied indefinitely to their Elven counterparts more closer than they had ever been in a never ending, un breaking bind. Thanks to the marriage of Calén to Aragorn ensuring the future of all the Kingdoms. The future of Middle Earth had looked brighter.

As the days pass into years peace rained absolute in Middle Earth the longest it had ever been. Eoywen and Boromir were married and welcomed a baby boy they named Theoden into the world and Aragorn and Calén adopted two babies, a girl and a boy. They named the girl Gilraen after Aragorn's mother and they named the boy Finrod so their Line continued. And the Fellowship and all the Kingdoms of Middle Earth thrived and were eternally bound by love and friendship. And though the Fellowship were no longer needed they were content and were quite happy to live in this new era of peace as they watched their children thrive not knowing of the wounds this world held nor the old prejudices that were once held. Growing up in world where they only knew peace and love.
