the second breakfasts

The seaside was always reserved for calmness and relaxation. The streets were somewhat quiet in the morning with little birds singing in the trees. Comparing to the urban London everything seemed so much more perfect and idyllic. No one expecting to be woken up by anything other than their alarm clock.

"Attention! Attention!" shouted Abrielle into the megaphone, "Alexander Turner I kindly ask of you to wake up!"

She lowered the megaphone, awaiting for a reply. Her eyes glanced at her wrist watch. She shook her head, disappointed. It was just past 7 and he was still asleep.

"I repeat! I kindly ask of Mr. Alexander Turner to step out of his house!"

"Shut up!" shouted one of the neighbors from a window.

The girl was quick to face the direction the voice was coming from, "Affirmative!"

Turning the megaphone off she started to lightly tap her foot against the pavement. He was taking a while. She wasn't ready to be late. They'll loose their lunch break.

"I repeat! This time less kindly! Mr. Alexa-"

"What the fuck's wrong with you?!" he stepped out in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, his hair still all messy from being asleep. He wasn't used to being woken up by a military drill. No one was used to being woken up like this.

"There you are." she kept the megaphone down now, taking a good look at her friend.

"Where the fuck did you get that?!" he pointed to the huge loud thing in her hand, obviously not something you'll have hanging around the house.

"The police station. Isn't it cool?" Abrielle smiled enthusiastically, surprised they'd even lend it to her.

Alex shook his head, looking at her in both confusion and utter annoyance. "What the fuck are you doing here?"
