A/N-this story has over 100 reads! Thank you to everyone who read my story. Ok, that's all I wanted to say, onto the story.
It's now 2017, 11 years since Fear escaped. The Light Sides still don't like or completely trust Anxiety. Deceit and Remus are getting very close to escaping, both are frightened of what Fear has become, but won't show it because they want to escape. Fear has become much better at acting and improve due to Deceit's lessons. Thomas and the Light Sides have decided to start the first Sanders Sides episode.
Thomas's POV
"Hey Creativity" I called out while sitting at my desk."Yes" he rose up all behind me all fancily, his arms in a strange position. "What problem do you wish for The Prince to slay?"
"Well, I had some questions about your new idea." I said, turning to face him.
"You mean my amazing idea where you talk to us, your sides, in front of a camera and we help you work out problems?" He asked, dropping his hands to his hips.
"Yeah, do you want the videos to be scripted or not? Also should I talk to all of you or should you each get specific episodes? Oh! Should I in-"
"Whoa whoa whoa." He replied, cutting me off. "I am not the side you need to talk to for this. I give you the ideas, the inspiration. Logic helps with all the planning and...stuff."
"So you want me to call up Logic?
"Yes, and while you two are talking, I am going to be watching Disney with Morality. Goodbye!" He said, singing his exit.
I smiled and rolled my eyes at his antics. "Logic" I called out, waiting for the intellectual side at arrive.
"Salutations Thomas" he said, straightening his tie as he rose up. "Why was I called?"
"I have some questions about Creativity's new idea, so I originally called him up but he told me to talk to you. You can help me with the planning and details, right?" I answered, while mindlessly playing with a pencil.
He sighed. "Thomas, one of the entire points of my existence is to help you with the planning of anything. Now what questions do you have?"
"Well my first question is if the video should be scripted or not?" I said, pulling out a notebook so I could take notes.
"You should go into each video with a direction, what you want the conclusion to be and such. Having a script may make it harder to come to the appropriate conclusions, plus scripts will be hard for people like Morality. It would be better to let us come to a conclusion with out a script, though the others may get off topic sometimes."
"Alright" I said, writing down his answer. "My next question is if I should have all of you in the videos or if I only speak to one or two of you?"
"That depends on the situation, I would suggest having all three of us there, as all of our differing opinions will help create a more thorough solution. Although, I do wish to have a video where it is just me helping you."
"Ok. My last question is if we should invite Anxiety. I mean, he is one of my sides, but I don't like his and I feel like he'd just make the problems worse." I said, my face stuck in an expression of guilt and disgust.
"There is no need to have Anxiety in these videos. You are right, nothing he says will be helpful and based on what I know of him, he will prefer not to participate anyways." He said, voice as monotone as ever. "If that is all I shall leave to got read. Oh, and this video sounds...fun? Goodbye, Thomas."
"Bye, Logic" I turned back to my desk after he sunk out. I hope Anxiety doesn't find out that we aren't including him. Oh, well. Time to start filming.
T/W-abusive actions and words from this moment to the end of the chapter, if you are uncomfortable I will provide a summary at the bottom of the chapter.
Deceit 's POV
"Deceit, I want you to focus your energy towards that little spot of light, ok." I nodded, before Fear floated over to Remus. I like how Fear has us practice together. If he is helping me, than Remus is in 'ghost mode' learning to upgrade our powers and vise versa. Fear is a very strict teacher, he yells and stuff but it's not that bad.I was listening in on their conversation while I was blasting the hole. It was the normal training, sounds of instruction and power blasts, then I heard yelling.
"Ugggg. Remus! You need to to concentrate! Stop talking to things that don't exist, and fucking focus!" Fear shouted, dark clouds roiling around him, his dark eyes glowing a vibrant purple.
It was that moment in which Remus lost it. "Well, maybe I can concentrate if you shit the fuck up, you fucking, shit-filled ass-hole! You need me and Dee for your shitty plan. So I suggest that you treat us better, you revenge obsessed bitch!"
Slap!
I froze at the sound. Stiff, I turned around to see Remus holding his cheek, right where a bright red handprint was currently residing. His eyes were huge as he stared at Fear, unshed tears making them bright and shining.
"What did you say?" Fear asked, both his face and voice strangely calm. Remus didn't respond, his silence only succeeding in making Fear angrier. I watched as the clouds became a thick smoke. "I'll ask again. What was that!?"
"I-I I called you a b-bitch" Remus choked out, his words barely above a whisper.
Crunch
I flinched back when Fear's fist made contact with Remus's nose. Blood squirted everywhere, along with emerge echoes of Remus's cries.
"Stop!" I screamed, coming out of my trance, so panicked I was actually telling the truth. "Stop hurting him!" I tried to scramble over to them, but Fear simply blasted me back with his magic.
"Ahhh!" I cried, falling back. The pain was unimaginable. It took all of my strength to lift my head. I turned towards Remus and saw a look of complete shock cross Fear's face before he sank out.
I crawled over to Remus and held his head in my lap. The blood was slowing and soon stopped, but his tears kept coming strong. "I know you said that he wasn't himself, but I didn't think he was so...so broken. I never thought he would actually hit me."
"Shhh" I said, trying to comfort him, switching back into lies I started to talk. "It's not okay. I'm not here for you. Remus. The thing that we don't have to remember is that our Fear. Our Virgil. He isn't long gone. And he hasn't he replaced by this-this monster."
I was still holding him when he fell asleep, which means his 'ghost form' returned to his body. I pulled out my journal.
April 27, 2017
Fear hit us today. We were practicing and Remus got a little mad, which ended with his getting slapped and punched by Fear. I tried to stop his but instead got blasted back by his powers. I'm scared for the future. If he hit us, how in the world is he going to treat the Light Sides.Virgil's POV
I reappeared back in my room. Sitting on my bed, I just stared at the wall for what was probably hours, shellshocked. I had slapped and punched Remus. I had hit Deceit with a powerful wave of energy. I had hurt them! And I had liked it.I mean Remus had been insulting me, I had been losing my grip over him. I had need to regain my control over him in some way, so I had struck out.
At least now I know a way to quickly regain control. I started to smile as I formulated a new plan for my 'teammates'. Any step out of line, and they get hit, I guess I have to train them like they are dogs, and I am the master. Oh, I can't wait until I have the Light Sides in my grasp, torching them will be fun.
~
I'm so sorry. This chapter is horrible T-T. Writer's Block sucks, and that means I had to write this train wreck to get over it. Please forgive my horrible writing.
