Fear's POV
"Come in!" I shouted, when I heard someone knock on my door. I was working on my plan for tomorrow, I needed to give Thomas a fear of the stove. In order to do that he had to have a small nightmare about the stove tonight. Not big enough to wake him up, but enough to make him wary. I felt bad having to scare Thomas, but the kid needs to learn. I have to protect him.

"Fear, I must inquire if you, Deciet, and Remus could meet Morality, Creativity, and I in the Control Room in 20 minutes."

"Yeah, sure, whatever you say Logic." I don't know his real name. None of  the so called light sides would dare tell a dark side, like me, their real name. I sighed, as I heard Logic close my door. Advancing my hearing, I listened to what he was muttering under his breath as he walked away.

"What a jerk, those Dark Sides are nothing but nuisances. I do so hope that the next side to be created will be a Light Side. Or at least not evil."

"I'm not evil" I growl to myself. "I just want to protect Thomas, just like all the Light Sides." Standing up I sink out and reappear in Deceit's room.

"What do you need?" Deceit asked politely, turning to face me. I was the only person he always tells the truth to.

"We're supposed to meet in the Control Room in about 19 minutes." I replied. "What are you working on?"

Deceit grabbed some paper and got up. "Thomas is currently mad at one of his friends but doesn't want to lose her, so I'm going to have him tell a white lie and keep her as a friend."

"Interesting. Let's go get Remus" I said. We both sank out and came back up behind Remus. His room was really cool. I was green and black, with Disney stuff everywhere. Remus, unlike his brother Roman, preferred the Disney villains to the heroes. But not because he was evil, he just like the backstories.

"Hey friends!" Remus shouts, bouncing on his bed. "Guess what?! Guess what?!"

"What is it Remus?" Deceit asked kindly. Remus tends to get distracted and a tad overexcited.

"Thomas gets to watch the newest Disney movie in the movie theatre on Saturday! I'm so excited!"

"That's great. Ok could you come to the Control Room with us? The other wanted to talk about something." I said, trying to calm him down a little. He nodded and he all walked out of his room and into the hallway.

"I wonder what they want to talk to us about?" Deceit wondered aloud.

"I'm not sure" I replied. "Thomas will be starting 3rd grade in a few weeks, so maybe they want to make a plan. Logic likes doing things early." Even though Thomas is a child, we look and think like we're in our 20's. We wouldn't be much help if we had the same mentality as Thomas did.

The Control Room was dark when we entered.
I wonder what that's about. I started my way over to the control board. Deceit and Remus followed behind me, looking as uneasy as I felt.  Just as I reached out to turn on the light, I felt an electric shock run through my body. I fell to my hands and knees as the lights turned on.

Morality/Patton's POV
I watched as Fear, Deceit, and Remus entered the Control Room. This was it, we were finally going to be rid of those stinking Dark Sides. (Excuse my potty mouth).

They walked across the room, and right when Fear reached the control board Logan triggered the trap. They fell to the ground and I flicked on the lights.

"What-what are you d-doing?" Fear asked, his voice raspy with electricity.

"It's time to finally get rid of you, disgusting Dark Sides." Roman said, smirking as he walked up to Fear, Deceit, and Remus.

"B-b-brother. W-why?" Remus cried, tears streaming down his face. I felt a twinge of guilt when I saw them. No Patton! You can't feel bad for them. They are the bad guys.

"You are effecting Thomas in a negative way." Logan said, walking away from the wall. "We can not let you continue, so you are being sent to the deepest depths of Thomas mind. You won't be able to see what Thomas is doing and you will lose most of your control over his actions as well. Your presence will still be in his mind, so Thomas won't run into traffic or something. But your interaction with him ends here."

"What!?" Fear cried out. "Are you insane, we're important! We just want to protect him! Morality, you'll save us. Right?"

He looked right at me and I nearly broke. But I remembered that we were doing this for Thomas and hardened my face. "No, I won't" I replied, my voice flat and cold.

"Why would he?" Roman asked, laughing. "We are the heroes and you are the bad guys. The villains and that's all you will ever be."

Logan's eyes widened as I saw Fear's eyes start to go black. Fear is the most powerful Side out of all of us. If he got angry enough he could stop us.

"We must get them out of here!" Logan yelled. Then he slammed his fingers on the button that sent them away.

Remus's POV
"Roman, wait!" I yelled, just as Logic slammed a button. Suddenly I was in a dark, empty room. I was all alone and couldn't see anything other than myself. I wasn't even standing on anything, I was floating.

"I-I can't believe he did that. I thought we were brothers. I love him! I thought he loved me too."

Wait. My head shot up. "Deceit! Fear! Where are you!?" I listened for a response, but none came. "Oh Disney. I'm all alone. I won't be able to ever see them again. Or watch Disney again!"

"No, No, No! I don't want to be alone. I can't be alone." Then the realization struck me. I'm going to go crazy here.

Deceit's POV
I opened my eyes to find myself in a dark, empty void. I couldn't see any thing past myself, and I appear to be floating in midair. It's hard to believe that the Light Sides could do something this horrible. We don't want to harm Thomas, we want to protect him (and that's the truth).

"Fear? Remus?" I called out, hoping to hear some sort of response. My voice echoed in the emptiness, but no voice echoed back to my call. I was here alone.

I felt my heart harden at the realization. I used to care about people, even though it was my job to be selfish, I tried very hard to be selfless. The Light Sides never noticed. No more! If they wanted me to be selfish, I was going to be. Self preservation is my top priority now, and once I get out, I'm going to make that very clear.

Fear's POV
"No!" I shouted as I was sent to the black void. "How!? How could they!?" I screamed as I looked around, my voice all distorted and monstrous.

"Deceit! Remus! Are you guys here" No one responded to me. "No! Of course their not here. The Light Sides wouldn't be that kind.

As I spoke, I had a realization. A slow grin spread on my face. "I'm the most powerful side. If I work at it, I can free us all from this prison. I just have to make sure I don't lose my sanity." My voice slowly returned to normal, and when I sounded like myself again I made a promise. "Look out Light Sides. Fear is angry and he wants revenge."
