“Mom, I have to go.” I told her while grabbing my bag and my car keys. It was the first day of my sophomore year. Yeah right, in every teenage story book there is when the main character goes to school for the very first day. But what the hell okay. I always want to start the story of my life with the first day of school.
“Don’t forget, you have dental check-up at 3:30. Go to your dentist okay. I won’t be available because of many paper works.” In my mind I was like, Tsk. Palagi naman eh.
I left the house at exactly 6:30 am. Yes, hindi pa ko late. Maaga ata ako masyado nagising eh. I went inside my car and of course, nagdrive ako. I stopped at Starbucks near our school and bought a coffee. You never know what a science teacher could always teach, right? So you might probably go to sleep. But this thing kills sleep. My mom is strict with my grades. Even though she doesn’t have time for me. I was in school at around 6:45 am. (Our house is just kind of near the school so I got there early.) I went to my locker and Thea came infront of me “Oh my gosh, Michelle!” we were like little kids squealing and giggling like we never seen each other for centuries. But I guess that’s what best friends are for, right? “You look so pretty na! I hate you.” I told her.
“Ano ba, ngayon lang ako gaganda kaya pagbigyan mo na ko. Ikaw nga eh, you’re always beautiful.” She replied “aysus. Nambola pa.” I said. We chatted for awhile until the bell rang. We both went to the same class. I was right. The professor is major a boring so I fell asleep.
“Michelle! Time na.” Angela said to me as I was opening my eyes and stretching. Angela is my second best friend. Most of the day, all I did was to attend all my classes.
