We arrived in Rockwell at 6:30 pm.
“So girls, where do you want to go? Do you want to shop or anything? Stephanie, I’ll go treat your friends. It’s the least that I can do for them since we forgot to invite them to my birthday last night.” I said
“Okay, sure Mom.” Stephanie said
We went to different stores. The stores that I’ve been shopping for the rest of my life. H&M, Topshop, Guess, Forever 21, Tomato, Christian Louboutin, & etc. I felt like I was a teenager again.
“Amanda, Where could your mom be?” I asked
“She texted me and she said that she’s almost here, Tita.” Amanda replied
Just then we saw a young looking woman going to our direction. She has a very fair skin, tall, and very petite. She looked at me and smiled.
“Michelle! It’s been a long time. Look at you, looking young as ever.” She said. She kissed me on the cheek and hugged me. Just then, she handed me a bag from H&M.
“Tiffany! So good to see you. Oh, what’s this?” I asked
“Oh, just a little something. I know it’s late and it was your birthday yesterday, right? My husband told me. And he told me to buy you a gift.” She said
“How’s Zachary?” I asked
“He’s fine. He’s busy with his work.”
“Good for him. So, how are you? You’ve change a lot!”
“I know, right. Oh, I’m fine. It’s just that work is killing my back so much.”
“You bet. So, why don’t we have dinner together.” I suggested.
“Of course. Kids, go do whatever you want. Just don’t disturb us, okay.” She told the kids.
“Oh, wait. Have you met my daughter? Tiffany, meet my daughter Stephanie. Stephanie, this is my great great friend since high school, Tiffany. Say hello.”
“Hey, Tita.”
“Hello, sweetie.”
“Now, go.” I said. Tiffany and I bonded for several hours. We talked about the randomest stuff ever, we laugh like teenagers and we bond like it’s the end of the world. It was definitely fun being with her. Just then, her phone rang.
“Excuse me, But I have to take this.” She said
“Oh sure, take your time.” I said. I was texting Bryan while she left. I told him that Tiffany and I are friends again. Just then, Tiffany came back and sat beside me.
“Zach is on his way here.” She finally told me. I was shocked. Was I ready to see Zach? Well, I haven’t seen him in years. And I’m scared. My Blackberry started beeping. ‘Bryan calling…’
“Oh, now I have to go and check this.” I said.
“Sure.” She said
“Excuse me.” I said. I went outside to answer the phone call. We talked for a few minutes and I finally went back inside.
“Who was that?” She asked
“It’s Bryan. He’s on his way too.” I said
“Oh, that’s great. So, the 4 of us can bond together again.”
“Yeah. It’s lovely.” I said.
A few hours later, a handsome guy came to us. I can definitely tell, He’s Zach. Tiffany stood up to meet him. The guy kissed her in the lips and then hold her butt. It was definitely Zach. When they went back inside, I stood up.
“Honey, Do you remember her?” Tiffany asked
“I think so. Miss, have we met before?” He asked
“Of course you’ve met him, Honey. Think harder.” Tiffany said
“Wait, Are you… Oh no, You’re Michelle! Michelle Francisco!” He said
“Nice meeting you, Zachary. You’ve never changed.” I said
“Still looking sexy, right?” He asked
“Nah. You’re wife is too sexy for you.” I said giggling.
“And you never changed too, Michelle.” He said
“I know, right. She’s still looks like a doll to me.” Tiffany said and smiled.
Just then, Bryan went to us. He kissed me on the lips and hugged me.
“I was worried about you, Babe. You should’ve told me you’re going here.” He said holding my hand
“I’m sorry. It’s just that we wanted to surprise Tiffany.” I said
Bryan turned to Tiffany.
“Hey Tiff! It’s been a long time.” He said. And then he turned to Zach.
“It’s Zach, right? Oh wait, you too also got married? That’s just cool, Man.” He said. Zach smiled.
“So tell me, Bryan. How much do you love your wife?” Tiffany asked
“A lot. I mean, she’s my whole world.” He said and then he kissed me again. I kissed him back. He was so sweet.
“And he’s my whole world.” I said
“Aww, that’s the sweetest thing I’ve heard.” Tiffany said
“Why? Doesn’t Zach tells you that?” Bryan asked
“Oh, of course he tells me that. Right, Honey?”
“Uh, Yeah of course.” Zach replied. I can see that he doesn’t know what we’re talking about since I notice that he’s been staring at me for a couple of minutes now.
“So, shall we have dinner?” Bryan asked
“Sure.” Tiffany said. We ate dinner peacefully. I mean, yeah we talk about stuffs but I guess it was just a different day for all of us. Well, almost different from all the dinners that we have. I was just so glad that we finally got together again after all those years. And now that things are going great between me and Tiffany, me and Zach, I guess everything will be okay. I guess it all ends here. Everything ends here perfectly.
