you were only 7 when you had to start taking care of yourself.
You didn't live fully alone you did have one friend, a boy named Gon who also desired to become a hunter, you promised each other to stick together no matter what happens. You and Gon finally left to go take the exam, when you got on the ship it was rocking gently and after the boat left the docks you went into the barracks (the bedrooms basically) you notice most of the passengers are getting sea sick due to a storm that started after about thirty minutes of leaving the docks, when you look around for Gon you notice two guys that aren't sea sick, one younger blonde eating apples and an older man reading in a hammock. You continue looking for Gon, when you see him helping the sick passengers so you go up to him and ask him if he needs any help and Gon replies with "yeah could you go get a cup of water for me?" and you say "yes!" enthusiastically and left to go get some, when you get back you notice the two guys you noticed earlier start to help. After about an hour the captain walked into the room to you and the boys helping the sickly and he asked if you all could come into the steering room (sorry, I don't know what it's called) and the captain basically explained that this was a test and that we passed.
Sorry for the short chapter but,
I will try to post daily since I don't have much to do because of covid-19 also I will be introducing Hisoka in the next chapter.
