Time skip to beginning of exam
(During the skip you and Leorio and Kurapika become friends, and you find out Leorio is only 19)
When you and your friends get to the exam room, a small green man named Bean gives you your numbers, your's being the number 406.
You walk around to be greeted by a larger man named Tonpa, he greeted you all and offered you all some orange soda.
You were about to drink the drink when Gon spits it out and says he thinks it has gone bad, not wanting to get sick you pour it out.
You and your friends were talking when suddenly you heard a man screaming, when you look to see what was happening the man was disintagrating (sorry if that's spelled wrong) into pink flowers.
You saw a tall clown man that said "you really should apologize when you bump into someone" you were so drawn to the man that you didn't even realize that you were walking straight towards him.
When you reach the man you tug gentle on the hem of his shirt and say "could you tell me how you did that?" the clown simply said " ~ah but, a magician never tells their secrets" you blush from embarrassment and apologize the clown says "it's alright little fruit" and he then walked away.
Gon runs up to you and asks you who that was and you say "I have no idea" and returned to the rest of your friends.
Soon after talking with your friends a man with a purple suit appears and says that the exam will begin momentarily, after he explains what to do you all start running after him.
While running you and Gon meet a small boy with pure white hair and sapphire blues eyes, he said that his name was Killua.
Killua and Gon ran up ahead together while you stayed behind, not wanting to draw attention to yourself. (*cough cough* Hisoka)
After about an hour or two of running you feel like someone is staring at you, while you continue to run you look around at the other contestants trying to find out who is watching you, as you were looking you saw the clown-like magician staring at you 'why is he staring at me, I'm not even doing anything interesting?' you try your best to ignore the stares and continue but the man started coming closer to you.
The magician was running right next to you when he said "What's your name?~" you ignored his question hoping that he would leave but instead of leaving he ran in front of you, turned around so that he was running backwards and asked the question again "I'll ask again, what's your name?" You kept running, while you were running you stared at him directly in the eyes and quickly said "(Y/n)" and ran around him.
You started running faster hoping the magician wouldn't be able to keep up, but he was right next to you again when he said "well, (Y/n) Good luck~" and then he ran up to the front of the large group.

You continue running when a staircase makes it's way into your view, when you get to the top of the stairs Mr. Satotz was informing everyone about where you were when suddenly another 'man' appears saying that he was the real examiner but quickly got cut of by three cards hitting and killing him. (You guys know what happens next)
