the following week, Friday.
Ace.

I was out with Luz and Ricky, talking over a few things before one of our providers came in. We were kind of low on product, and Ricky didn't want the flow of money that was being made to be affected. On top of that, since we decided to add some folks to help sell, I had to chip in and pay more so we could more of product in bigger bulks.

"Ace, how would you feel if had more locations bruh? niggas in Queens would go brazy over this shit we got..."

"Look man, we gon' keep it where it's at now. Stop acting like people ain't tryna figure us out...we gotta stay on the low...I do at least..."

"If anything man, you are just funding all this shit. You ain't really doing nothing..." Luz says.

" If I ain't doing shit, then why the fuck am I here?" I say, growing irritated.

"Aye dawg, I'm just fooling with ya. We ain't going bigger...shit, we already big."

"Yeah, not big enough...." Ricky mumbles.

I rolled my eyes, getting myself something to drink. I hear a loud knock at the door, and watch as Luz goes to open it.

"What's happening Armando?" Ricky says, getting up to shake his hand. He nods and looks my way.

"Looks like you being gaining weight Ace."

"It's called muscle ese..." I say, joking with him.

I sit down back in my spot, waiting for Ricky to explain to him why we needed more of the product. Armando was cool guy for the most part, but thing with him is that he real confrontational when things didn't go his way. He never played around about his money, and I respected that about him.

"So what are our prices looking like if we went bigger?"

" Hm, I don't know....how big are we talking?"

"Shit, I'm talking as big as you got it....we got the money for it. Ain't that right Ace?"

"Aye man, we got budgets still....what's your prices ranging to?"

"Well, if you want twice as much as your getting now...then the price will triple."

" Damn....so twenty two G's for all of this shit?" Luz asks. Armando shakes his head and grins.

"Looks like you need to start dealing your money more wisely...."

Ricky looks at me, but all I do is shrug my shoulders. I didn't really want to deal all this right now, but I didn't have no choice.

" Look, why don't we meet up with the niggas that wanted to join forces, and have them pay half? That way we can save ya pockets from draining Ace..." Luz says. It really wasn't a bad idea, so I nodded my head in agreement.

"So do we have a deal El Chapo?" Ricky says.

"Sure thing...I'll give you till next Friday to have all my money, cause if not—"

"We got you Armando. So we'll see you Friday man....or sooner..." I say. Armando nods, walking out of the door.

" I like it man! We makin' the real dough now!!!" Luz says while lighting up a joint. Ricky chimes in as well, counting some cash in his hand.
