Richie stood at the bottom of Eddies window outside the Kaspbrak household. Sonia was absolutely against Richie hanging out with Eddie, saying he had a "disease"

Richie would always sneak in through Eddies window while Sonia was asleep, that way they could hang out longer.

Richie knocked on Eddies window a few times, then was greeted by the little germaphobe.

"Ok Chee, climb in."

Richie very stealthily climbed into Eddies window, but caught his foot on the windowsill and slammed into the floor.

"You dumbass!" Eddie whisper yelled, shaking his head at the raven haired boy that was still on the ground.

"Whatchya talking about eds? Im as stealthy as a ninja" Richie giggled, pulling himself off of the floor and onto Eddies bed.

Eddie rolled his eyes, and was about to say something when he was interrupted by loud footsteps making their way to his room.

"Shit fuck oh shit! My mom heard you you dumbass! Go hide!" Eddie whisper yelled, looking around his room for a hiding spot.

"Where am I supposed to hide eds?" Richie said, slight panic in his voice.

"In the closet! Go go go!" Eddie replied, pushing Richie towards the small closet.

"But that closets small and-" Richie started, but was cut off by Eddie shoving him in and closing the door.

"Eddie bear! Are you okay sweetheart? I thought I heard a noise!" Sonia said, barging into the room.

"I'm ok momma. Just a book that fell over." Eddie assured Mrs.K, slightly pushing her towards the door.

"Okay Eddie bear. Make sure to take your meds before bed." Sonia said, finally leaving the room.

Eddie gently closed the door, letting out a sigh if relief before noticing the sound of heavy breathing.

He opened the closet door and found Richie curled up in a ball trying to control his breathing.

"Rich? are you okay?" Eddie asked, reaching his hand out to pull Richie out of the closet. Richie took it, and Eddie led him to the bed and sat him down.

"Richie, you need to calm down. Take deep breaths. What's wrong?" Eddie said, trying to soothe the shaken up boy.

Eddie could tell Richie was having trouble breathing properly, so he took out his spare inhaler and puffed some of the medication in Richies mouth.

Richie calmed down a bit, and finally stopped shaking a bit. He looked really embarrassed to tell Eddie why he had had freaked out, and Eddie could tell by the look on his face.

"Hey, you can tell me anything, alright? I promise i wont judge." Eddie assured, rubbing circles on Richies back.

Richie took a deep breath, and whispered so quietly that Eddie could barely hear him.

"Im claustrophobic"

Eddie smiled a little, giving Richie a small hug.

"Thats okay Chee. Im a little claustrophobic too" Eddie said, tracing patterns on Richies back.

"I just thought that you would think im a baby, and that im not manly enough to be your friend." Richie said, remembering the awful words of his father and how 'its not manly to be afraid'

"I'll always be your friend Rich, no matter what. Now, should we put on a movie and eat snacks?" Eddie smiled, knowing Richies favourite thing to do is watch movies.

"I would love to Eddie speghetti"
