Are y'all REDDIE for this?
"Edward Kaspbrak tell him!" Beverly yelled as she painted her nails.
Eddie and Bev sat in Bevs bedroom, talking about random shit while her dad was gone.
"What do I say Bev? 'Oh hey Rich I know we've been best friends since we were in kindergarten but I am totally gay for you and since I know you're gay too lets date!'" Eddie mimicked, using hand signals as he paced the room.
"Yes! Thats almost exactly what you say! Except, more romantic" Bev replied, screwing on the top of the nail polish back on.
"Bev, have you ever met me? I am the exact opposite of romantic!" Eddie groaned, flopping back onto the bed.
"I'll help you! I can set up the most romantic date you'll ever see!" Bev exclaimed, totally fan-girling over the gays.
"Oh no!" Eddie yelled, knowing what was coming next.
"Oh yes!" Bev exclaimed, grabbing Eddie and pulling him out the door to take him shopping.
Meanwhile at Richies house
"Stan the man! You actually came! I need a little help with something" Richie said, pulling Stan inside of his house.
"If this has anything to do with your Dick i will leave-" Stan started, but was cut off by Richie shushing him and peering around the corner.
Richies Dad was passed out on the couch, beer bottle in hand. The boys slowly climbed up the stairs, wincing at the tiniest creak.
They finally made it up the stairs, Richie closing his door slowly.
"So, what did you wanna talk about?" Stan asked, organizing Richies shelf.
"Um, please dont hate me for saying this, but um, im gay? And you dont have to be friends with me i totally understand it," Richie rambled, but Stan cut him off.
"Rich, im not mad, im happy you came out to me! And also, when are you gonna ask Eddie out?" Stan smirked, knowing exactly that was gonna come next.
Richie just stared at him with his mouth hanging open. How did Stan know he liked Eddie? Was it that obvious? Who else knew?
"Judging by the look on your face, you dont know how to ask him. So, lets plan! Do you own any nice clothing?" Stan asked, sitting on Richie's now neat bed.
"Umm, i have an old tuxedo i think," Richie replied, digging through his closet.
He pulled out a dark grey tuxedo, with a dark blue tie.
"It doesn't look like its gonna fit you," Stan said, looking at the tuxedo obviously made for an 11 year old.
"Well what do we do then?" Richie huffed, throwing the tuxedo on the ground.
Stan cringed at his untidiness, but sighed and stood up.
"Come on, i might have something that will fit you"
Time skip cause i have writers block
"It looks perfect! Now all ya gotta do is ask him out!" Bev squealed as her and Eddie finished decorating a table in the park.
"What if he doesn't like it? Am i dressed nice enough? Oh god bev i dont know if i can do this!" Eddie panicked, taking multiple puffs of his inhaler.
"Eddie, he's gonna love it! Now go get yourself some man!" Bev said, pushing Eddie out of the park.
Eddie took a deep breath as he walked to Richies. Whats the worst that could happen, right?
Eddie climbed up the tree to Richies window, careful not to get his suit dirty.
He tapped on the window a few times, and was surprised when Stan opened the window.
"What are you doing here?" Eddie asked, climbing through the window.
"Im helping Richie with something, what are you doing here?" Stan asked, smirking at Eddies outfit.
"I was gonna ask Richie something, but if you guys are busy-" He was cut off by Richie bursting into the room.
"Stan! I think this ones perfect! Do you think Eds will like it? This needs to all be perfect for him!" Richie rambled, not noticing the blushing small boy at the window.
Stan coughed to get Richies attention, and could've swore Richie was gonna faint at how pale he became.
"OH SHIT EDS! IM SORRY THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SURPRISE BUT-" Richie was cut off by Eddie pulling him in for a kiss.
"I love you trashmouth" Eddie smiled after breaking away from the kiss,
"now lets go on the date i set up for us"——————
I did it! I wrote a reddie kiss! Now whos reddie for a reddie date?
