Shalphine's P.O.V

I scream as I wake up. Another nightmare? I hear someone shush me half asleep. I sit up, legs crossed. This nightmare was different, but just as scary. And there was that stalker person thing again. He didn't talk this time, but he still watched. Why am I assuming it's a he? I don't know, but the voice sounded male.

Why did the thing seem different this time? It was almost as if he was sorry. No, that can't be it. Why would a horrible creature like that feel remorse? Then again, it's all in my head. It's not like the stalker is real. Only in my dreams. Which makes me wonder why this is happening. Am I going insane? I would talk with my parents, but I don't want them to worry.

Just now, I hear someone crying. I look over to see Kiri sobbing in her sleep. Looks like I'm not the only one with nightmares. I get up quietly and rub Kir's back lightly. She jumps at my touch, waking herself up.

"Shelphine?" She asks, still not fully awake,

"I'm here Kiri." I comfort her.

"I had a horrible dream." She tells me.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I whisper.

She nods and gets up. I follow her to the dining room, where where we won't disturb anyone. She tells me her dream. It does sound really bad like mine. But the last thing she says shocks me, to say the least.

"At the end I saw something staring at me with an evil smile. It was black, with four tails and wings and-"

"And ram horns, purple eyes, and clawed fingers?" I say, a bit to loudly.

"Yes! How did you know?" Kiri questions.

"Well, I've been having nightmares with that thing too." I explain.

"Well that's freaky." She says, worry in her voice.

I'm worried too. Really worried. How is this possible? I hear screaming coming from the living room. Could someone else be having a nightmare with the stalker? Me and Kiri go check it out. A girl named Taylor was awake and shaking.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Kiri asks Taylor.

"Yeah, but it's no big deal. Hey why are you two even awake?" She wonders.

"Because we had nightmares too." I tell Taylor.

I start to describe the stalker.

"That was in my dream!" Taylor cuts me off.

Again, someone shushes us. What is going on here? What is making the same thing show up in our bad dreams? Could I have been wrong? Could the stalker actually be a real person, giving us these nightmares? That's not possible though...
