In the morning, once everyone is awake, me, Kiri, and Taylor ask the remaining friends if they had a nightmare.

"I did." says Anna, a short and clever friend of Kiri.

"Did you see a dude with bat wings and four tails?" Taylor asks before I can.

"Oh wow how did you know?" Anna wonders, her face serious.

"Me, Shelphine, and Taylor all had nightmares with the same guy." Kiri explains.

No one says a word for a while.

The silence is broken when Jocie says "Am I the only one who had legit the best dream ever?"

"I had a good dream too." Grace says quietly.

"Well since they had the same nightmare dude in their dreams, maybe we had the same awesome dream dude in our dreams?" Joice reasons.

"Well, I did see a really nice person who told me he would be my best friend." Grace begins. "He looked mostly human, but he glowed bright white. He has angel wings with swirly golden patterns on them. He also had a cat tail and elf-like ears. Oh, and his eyes were pure gold. No pupils or anything."

Jocie's eyes widen. "That's the guy! He was in my dream too."

So Grace and Jocie had dreams with the same dream guy, and the rest of us had dreams with the same creepy guy. I'm so confused right now. What even happened last night?

-Time skip to a week later-

It has been a week since the freaky sleepover party. The night after it, I had another nightmare with the stalker. He seemed like he didn't want to be in my dream that time. Odd. Ever since then I've had no more nightmares. Kiri has been having them though. As well as Taylor. I don't know about Anna, I don't stay in contact with her. Jocie is having good dreams with the dream guy a lot. Grace hasn't though, but she doesn't live in my neighborhood. Kiri and Jocie do, and Taylor lives right outside of it. I wonder if that has anything to do with this. Right now I'm lying on my bed, trying to fall asleep. After a while I feel myself drifting.

I'm in a city, but no one is around. The sun is setting, and I'm the only one here. I hear a faint noise. A voice? It sounds like someone is talking from above me. I look up. I think someone is on the roof of this building im in front of. I want to go up there, but I don't know how. My feet feel weird. I look down to see that I'm floating. Welp, gravity is on break I guess. I try to fly up to the roof. It works! When I get there, I see a figure sitting on the other side. I can't make out details, but I can see wings sprouting from the figures back. I know exactly who that is. I try to fly away, but I just drop onto the rooftop. Yeah, thanks gravity. I don't know what else to do, so I walk up to the stalker.

"Hello Shelphine." He says without turning around.

His voice sounds more human this time. In fact, he sounds like a teenager, my age almost.

"Are you going to reply?" The stalker asks me.

"Umm he-hello." I stutter.

He motions for me to sit by him.

"No thanks, I'd rather stand."

He gets up and stands right in front of me. He doesn't look mad, he looks nervous? I can't tell.

"I just wanted to apologize." The stalker tells me.  He looks sincere, like he's actually sorry. This takes me by surprize.

"You're sorry?"

"Yes. For scaring you."

He looks guilty. Well he should be. He never should have scared me in the first place.

"Well why the heck would you scare me to begin with?" I ask, irritated.

"I have to." He looks away.

"Why?" I question.

"Fear is a negative emotion. I need to obtain negativity, or else I'll die."

I look at the stalker. I slightly feel bad for him.

He speaks again. "Usually I don't mind scaring people. Actually, I enjoy it. But you are different...

...You make me feel something I've never felt before."
