Hey guys. I'm sorry but I can't upload as often now. Something personal came up, and now I won't really have a schedule for updating. Sorry!
Shelphine's P.O.V
The day is almost over. I'm doing acrostic poetry this time in English. Why does Mrs. Timmore love poetry so much? It's getting old. I didn't see Cody at all today, and now he's not in this class either. Probably got suspended for beating up those Soul Breakers. In his defense, they are the ones who started it.
"Ok I want that poetry done by tomorrow. Have a great-" Mrs. Timmore is interrupted by the bell.
Yes finally. Last class. As I'm walking down the hall, I see James.
"James!" I yell his name.
"Huh? Oh hi Shelphine!" He says with a bright smile.
"How are you?" I ask.
"I'm pretty great. How about you?"
"I'm fine."
"Well of course you're fine, ShelFINE."
I fake laugh and pray he never says that again. I ask him if Cody got suspended. He said he did. Then we go to our classes.
-Time skip to Shelphine's house-
I saw Cody on my way home! He was in the front yard of his house, which is four houses from mine. I'm so tempted to go see him. I could ride my bike there. It is a nice day. If I ask, however, I know dad will say no. Just because he doesn't want me to hang with boys. I could say I'm going for a bike ride to the park. Though I don't really want to lie. Hmm. Cody needs some support right now. I decide to go out. I pull into Cody's driveway, and walk to the door. Knock knock knock. I hear a man's voice yelling for someone to get the door. It opens shortly after.
"Hey Shelphine. What are you doing here?" Cody answers the door.
I smile. "I'm actually here to see you."
He gives a small smile, and lets me in. I smell some sort of burning when I enter. I guess Cody sees my concern.
"Don't worry. Just my dad's science experiments. He's an expert. He knows what he's doing." He says
"Oh alright then." I nod.
Cody gives me a quick tour of his house. Not that different from mine, as far as the setup.
"Thanks for showing me around." I thank him when we're done.
"No problem. So now what do you want to do?"
I think about that. I have no ideas.
"You pick." I tell him.
"You're the guest."
"But I'm not sure."
"Ok then, maybe can play two truths and a lie? It will help us get to know each other better."
"Sounds great to me."
