1 - Announcement

I took another bite of my burger as I watched the two of them fight in front of me. Again.

"I told you! It's true!"

"Bitch, how can you be so sure?!"

I then chuckled as I finished my burger then took a sip of my soda.

These two have been fighting over such silly things ever since we've become classmates. It has been 3 years, yet they're still at it.

"Oh shut up! Do you want me to scratch your face?!" Khierra hissed as her nails started to grow sharp. "You know I wouldn't hesitate doing it in front of everyone."

Meul had only mumbled in response and gave her a glare, making Khierra smirk and sit properly.

"That's what I thought."

"Pfft, shut up. I'm only holding back for everyone not to see how scandalous their Secretary is." he snorted.

Before she could even respond to that, I had already pulled her cat ears and shook my head.

"No. Later." I murmured.

Pouting, she immediately sat back and calmed herself down as her nails went back to normal. "Be thankful." She spat at Meul then went back to eating her unfinished burger.

I tried not to laugh as I noticed Meul mimicking her while she was busy with her food.

"Ah, by the way..." I started, getting both of their attentions. "What do you think is the Perhoan up to?"

"Probably busy jacking off." Khierra shrugged, earning a glare from Meul.

"Such a foul mouth you have for a lady! Did you ever learn anything from your class?" Meul commented.

"Why you—"

"As I said. Later." I repeated with a warning tone and smiled at the two.

Like little puppies, they had quickly behaved themselves and looked down, clearly avoiding eye contact with me.

As I was about to speak, a loud sound coming from the speaker had erupted throughout the whole school campus. I had quickly covered my ears and screamed, my insides feeling like it were being sliced multiple of times, as the sound had continued to gradually increase.

Even through the pain, I tried to look around and see how the rest were doing. Just as expected, they were suffering, most of them screaming and either rolling/curling theirselves on the floor, or banging their heads on the table.

I averted my attention to Meul, who seemed like he could manage the pain a little, then at Khierra. Her pupils had went sharp, and same goes to her nails. Her fluffy tail went straight up while she covered both her human and cat ears. I couldn't do anything to help her because of the pain surging throughout my body.

The ear piercing sound lasted for about a minute or two, longer than the usual ones that we actually have.

I had slowly uncovered my ears as I noticed the sounds dispersing.

"Khierra." I called out then quickly went beside her, giving her a hug. Like the usual, she remained frozen while covering her ears, her face all pale like the rest of us here.

I glanced at Meul then slightly tilted my head to the side, motioning for him to go do his job and check on the rest. He nodded in response and had quickly vanished to thin air, then suddenly went appearing before the students that were affected the most. Feline students like Khierra.
