I looked at my naked reflections in the cracked mirror and smiled faintly. There were lots of bruises on my body and some scratches on my neck. Though my arms, legs, and face had no traces of injury.

'Any moment now and they'll arrive...'

Slightly nodding, I turned away and opened the old, rusty closet just beside the mirror, then wore a sweater that covers up my neck, and a jogging pants.

This way, they won't see it. Especially him. He might go crazy and start questioning them. And knowing him, he would go rebellious. I don't want to be the cause of his suffering.

'They're outside...'

I paused for a moment then took a glimpse at the mirror. Instead of seeing my face, I saw another girl. She was slightly shorter than me and she had a blonde, curly hair. The colour of emerald on her left eye and had the colour of sapphire on the right one. She looked beautiful yet she always had such a dreadful expression on her face.

'Drop it...' she spoke.

"Alright.." I mumbled and took the rope hidden beneath my bed. "Thank you..."

There was no response, as usual.

I tied one end of the rope on the metal handle of the window's door before opening it. Looking down, I saw three people that were looking back up at me with such a wide smile.

"We're hooommmeeeee!!!" the female had screamed while waving her arms at me.

I giggled as the male beside her had flicked her forehead and started reprimanding her, as always. I quickly tossed the other end of the rope down then held the handle to where it was tied to, just in case.

As soon as it had reached down, the three had quickly held on it, and used the rope to climb up and walk on the tower's wall.

It didn't take long enough for them to have reached the window and maneuver theirselves inside. Afterall, they've been doing this for a couple of years now.

"We're baacckkkk!!!" The female squealed then ran up to me, giving me a tight warm hug. "I missed you!!"

"Jeez, stop acting like a kid. It's not like you didn't see her for a couple of days."

"Psh, but I didn't see her for a couple of hours!"

I giggled while watching the two and gave a glance at the male standing by the window. Hugging back to her for a short moment, I quickly pulled away and smiled sweetly.

"Thank you for always checking on me Ghiubnaq, Ying Rei—" I paused for a moment, then gazed at him, who stared at me with his beautiful hazelnut eyes. "—Vhyle.. I appreciate it."

"Are we almost there?!"

Meul had shot her a glare as he looked around the forest. "Can you stop whining like it's your first time to be here?!" he hissed and rolled his eyes.

Khierra had only scoffed in response and glared daggers at him as we walked. It's been more than 30 minutes since we got here yet we still haven't reached the location of the tower she was in.

Compared to back then, we're taking too much time in wandering around now. It mostly just took us at least ten, or even five minutes to get to her. Probably this is just because it's been so long since we've last visited her.

"Urgh!! Are you sure this is the right way Jhin?! Cause I'm very sure, sure as hell, that we've been here!!" Khierra had whined yet again.
