Chapter 11: Having Fun

A few weeks later, Conway and Loretta decided to see if Lisa would like Kenny and Dolly while they babysat to give her sisters a break as they thanked them for it. Dolly was very experienced on babysitting as she did that quite often with her brothers and sisters growing up, plus she also cared for her nieces and nephews from time to time.

They told them to bring Lisa on over whenever they wanted to as Loretta gave Dolly the title of the fairy godmother, in addition to Dolly as she loved being able to spoil the kids whenever she wanted to.

Around eleven o'clock that morning, they got a knock on the door, followed by a little one as Dolly knew it was them as she opened the door.

"Well hello." Dolly said as Lisa immediately wanted to be held by Dolly as Loretta smiled.

"Aunt Dolly!" Lisa clapped as Dolly laughed.

"Aww baby. Are you excited 'bout today?" Dolly asked.

"Yeah." Lisa said.

"She's been lookin' forward to it and the girls appreciate this." Loretta's said.

"Aww honey, l always wanted to babysit her since you first let me hold her at the hospital."

"Goodness! She's almost four and that feels so long ago."

"Well, they grow up rather fast and I keep growing."

"I know! You finally have a formed baby bump that's noticeable." Loretta said as she touched her stomach.

"Kenny thinks we're having a boy."

"That's 'cause I have intuition." He said coming over to stand by his wife.

"I think you're havin' a girl, so don't worry yourselves too much."

"We won't."

"Well, I gotta get back home and get ready for my date night because Conway wants to go somewhere new."

"Well okay, y'all have fun."

"We will and you, be good for Aunt Dolly and Uncle Kenny." Loretta said as Lisa smiled.

"Oh she will honey, don't you worry about that." Dolly said.

"Bye mommy." Lisa waved.

"Bye baby." Loretta said as she kissed her on the cheek and walked to her car and left.

Dolly closed the door and put Lisa down to let her roam and get familiar with the place.

"Doggies?" Lisa questioned.

"Yes baby, we have doggies." Dolly said as Popeye and Lola came up to Lisa as she went to pet them.

She petted them as she started laughing as Kenny walked up to Dolly and kissed her.

"Why do y'all kiss? Y'all are not my mommy and daddy."

"Well honey, when two people love each other very much, they kiss." Dolly said as she sat down in the floor.

"You're pretty!" Lisa said as she touched Dolly's face.

"Thank you sweetheart, I agree!" Kenny said as Dolly blushed.

"Just like my mommy."

"You're mommy is prettier than I am sweetie, now what do you say we prepare something to eat." Dolly said as she got up from the floor.

"I'll do it baby doll. Now, what would you ladies like to eat?"

"How about some spaghetti Lisa, would you like that?"

"Yeah!" She grinned happily.

"Is this for you or the baby?"

"I'm craving it. Have been since we went to bed last night."
