Found myself locked up in a cage
A shady place, in front; a stage
Amid a boisterous mob i knew a few
Why i was chained, i had no clue
The crowd cheering to start the fight
I had a hunch, it'd be a gruesome sight
There stood the two;
who in the fight were to engage
Glaring each other with rising rage
Fierce scowl with such despise
for sure they'll cause each other's demise
On the mark, the fight broke
A nameless fear in him evoke
With clenched fists and hostile drill
Approaching with mutual intent to kill
Incessant loathe is all there was
left me curious to know the cause
The crowd went on fueling the fight
Feeding each one pure malice and spite
With a nasty punch the fight started off
Suddenly i couldn't breathe and had to cough
My nose bled, i could feel it burn
when the other attacked in return
To stop the fight it was too late
To kill each other had been there fate
A huge crowd was there yet
no soul would come to my aid
Squirming in pain i raised my head
Wondering if one of them was already dead
I then saw what I hadn't noticed before
Their faces resembled the ones i wore
and all the pain they inflicted on each other
I was the only one to suffer
A blink of an eye made me realize
i had been staring in my own eyes

Pathentic Poetry
ŞiirMost of the sentiment depicted here are not my feelings. I tend to write this (so-called poetry) by mentally placing myself in different situations. Better put my overthinking ability to some use.
