Speechless [MegaPvP au]

7- Discovery

He turned around the corner and saw something unexpected. A small, feline figure formed in the shadows. 'I-is it..? No... I'm going crazy...'  The feline walked out of the shadows, dazzling, bright yellow eyes stared back at him. Max stared at the cat, dumbfounded. 'Is it..? Is it really Dusk...?'

He analyzed the cat, dense, gray fur. Bright yellow eyes, he knew it. It was Dusk, he welcomed Dusk back into his arms. It was a happy, unexpected reunion between the two. Max made sure that Dusk knew how much he missed him, Dusk just did the same. 

"w-where were you..?" Max questioned, no answer of course. But then Dusk jumped out of his arms, and signaled Max to follow him. '...? Where would he be taking me at this time?'  Dusk could wait any longer and started walking away. 

'..?! Where is he going?! '  Max ran and lost Dusk's trail. 'No! I'm not going to lose him again!'  He looked to his right and saw Dusk's small tail. He ran in that direction and finally saw Dusk again, he soon realizes that Dusk is going in the direction of the forest up ahead. He quickly picks Dusk up in his arms and starts making his way home.

"What are you doing? Y-You know the forest is a dangerous place.." Max sighed and feels Dusk in his arms trying to get out. Dusk kept trying to get out of Max's arms, but Max never let go of Dusk for the rest of the walk home.

Max kicked his door open and locked the door, he placed Dusk down and looked in the drawers for Dusk's food. 'Why would Dusk be running away like that? I thought I really lost him. Oh well, I have him here so that's good I guess.'  Max poured the food in Dusk's feeding bowl and gave it to Dusk. 

Max sighed and walked up the stairs to his room. He closed his door and hopped on his bed, he grabbed his phone and scrolled through social media for a bit until he got a message from someone. He checked the contact and saw that Zelk was the one who messaged him, 'what does Zelk want?' Max checked his messages to see what Zelk wanted.

Zelk: Mega can we talk on discord please

Mega: what do you want?

Zelk: I just wanted to talk, I'm bored and have nothing else to do. You're also the only one online,  I'm dying of boredom here.

Mega: sure I could play.

Max was also bored, he was up for the whole night and he has nothing to do. A little fun couldn't hurt. He got up from his bet then went to his PC and booted up Minecraft. For the next thirty minutes, him and Zelk played bedwars. Just for a bit of a challenge, they couldn't buy any weapon, so they had to find an alternative. After that they played skywars for a bit, and trolled hackers before banning them.

He went on Teamspeak, and saw Zelk in his own channel, waiting for him to join. He joined Zelk's channel and immediately muted his mic.
