Chapter Six

The work lists were out and everyone knew what they had to do. The jocks were the guard now. Olivia was in the committee but Allie no, and that made her mad.

"I think the committee needs protection" Cassandra said to everyone in the kitchen " as you know not everyone is agree with te rules I made and those people are dangerous"

"You think all of us need a bodyguard?" Gordie asked a bit confused

"Well, actually no" Cassandra replied "I think Live needs a bodyguard" Olivia looked at her sister confused and mad.

"Cassandra, for the last time" she said trying to be chill " I am not a five years old baby anymore and-"

"I know you are not a five years old baby" Cassandra interrupted her "But Campbell, Harry and their little friends has guns"

"And you think because one of this huge guys follows me every where they won't fucking shoot me?" she asked losing her nerves more and more.

Cassandra didn't answer and Olivia went upstairs to her room.

"I'm sorry for that" Cassandra said getting up of her sit "I should go talk to her"

"She just argued with you right now, I think it's better if Grizz goes talk to her" Luke sais making Grizz get out of his thought.

"Yes, yes of course" He said getting up from his sit and going upstairs to Olivia's room and he knocked the door.

"Go away Cassandra!" He heard Olivia scream from the other side of the door.

"It's Grizz" He replied hoping she would tell him to go in but she didn't "Can I get in?"

"Yes" she said in a relaxed way than a moment before and Grizz obeyed.

"What do you want?" she asked in a rude tone "I'm sorry I didn't meant tha it's just that-"

"Hey don't worry" He cut her sitting beside Olivia in her bed.

"Do you think I need one of you guys to protect me?" Olivia asked Grizz.

"If I answer your question promise that you won't cut me off and listen to me" she nodded slowly. "You know Harry and Campbell are dangerous and they want to hurt Cassandra" He explained and Olivia listened to him closely "The best way to hurt Cassandra and scare everyone is hurting you. You are her sister and part of the committee you are the perfect target" All Olivia did was just stay quiet, she knew he was right. "If you want I can be your "bodyguard". We have been hanging out together the last few days so no one will be suspicious" He wanted to be close to Olivia, not that way of course but at least he will be able to protect her.

"Well you have a point" she said giving up "but I still think I don't need anyone to protect me" Grizz smiled to her and Olivia gave him a little smile back. He got up to go downstairs but Olivia stopped him.

"Grizz..." she said looking at the floor as he looked at her curiously "would you be my date to prom?" he was surprised. That was the last thing he was specting to happen.

"Prom?" He asked not knowing what to say.

"Yes, Kelly's idea. But it's totally okay if you don't want to go with me, don't worry if-" she said nervously but Grizz cut her off.

"I'd love to be your date to prom, Live" he said making Olivia look at him with a big smile. "I'll pick you up at 8.30" he said leaving the room.

Cassandra was doing Olivias make up in the bathroom and Allie entered.

"Sorry I have to pee" she said.

"Are you okay?" Cassandra asked her.

"It burns when I pee" she said a bit embarrassed.

"It may be UTI" Olivia said making her two sisters look at her "Who have you been sleeping with?" she asked but Allie didn't reply.

"I hope that Mr UTI will take you to prom tonight" Cassandra said "You are done Live" Cassandra smiled.

"Live you look beautiful" Allie said "Who's taking you to prom?" Olivia's cheeks went red and her two sister were waiting for her answer.

"Grizz" she said trying not to smile but she couldn't.

"I knew it!" Allie shouted exited. "What dress are you going to wear?" Allie asked curiously.

"You'll see it when I'm done" she said getting out of the restroom with a playful smile.

The door bell rang and Allie ran downstairs exited to open the door to Olivia's date.

"Hi Allie" Grizz said as Allie opened the door.

"She's upstairs, in her room" she said with a big smile and Grizz smiled back. He went upstairs as Allie said and knocked Olivia's door.

"Come in" he heard Olivia's sweet voice and he obeyed.

"Grizz!" she said exited "I need your help" she said turning her back to him "would you help me to zip my dress" he nodded and put his hand in Olivia's lower back to zip her red dress.

"You look beautiful" he said making Olivia blush.

"You look..." she said looking at his DIY pants "Different" she finally said with a little chuckle.

"You don't like it?" He asked looking his outfit.

"I love it" she softly said looking straight into his eyes making Grizz smile.

"Let's go" he said offering Olivia his arm and she took it without any doubt.

"Wow boo you look great" Clarke smiling to Olivia.

"Aww, thanks Clarkei" She answered smiling back. Cassandra grabbed her and they sat in a table.

"You look great, Live" she said "If you want you can leave early and go have fun with Grizz" she said winking "I'll clean the place"

"No no, I'll help you as I promised" Grizz approached to Olivia with a huge smile.

"Wanna slow dance?" he said offering his hand.

"Of course" she answered taking his hand. He puts his hands in Olivia's waist and she puts her hands around Grizz's neck.

"What's your real name?" she asked him.

"Promise you won't laugh" he said and she nodded. "My real name is Gareth"

"Why would I laugh?" she said with a smile "That's a beautiful name"

"It is not" he said smiling back "but if you think so" he looked at the ground "Live, can I tell you something?" He said looking back at her and she nodded "I like you...I've liked you since ninth grade. I've never been able to talk to you, and that night at the party I was the happiest guy in the world" she looked at him with wide eyes but she quickly reacted kissing him softly.

The beginning of this chapter does not convince me much, to be honest but it will make sense in the next chapter.
