After math

As I ran for dear life I couldn't stop thinking about how my own mother turned on me for A NIGGA, when I say I only saw red at this point I could never never go back I no long had a mother BUT I do have a father and I'll make it my mission to find him before the end of the year.

Couple Hours Later

I ran to the only persons house I knew wouldn't rat me out the my mom that I was there. I pray and hope they're at home. As I knocked on the door I got scared because what if she finds me here and beats me, the door opened knocking me out of my thoughts.

Hey granny baby what are you doing here in the middle of the night and what happened to your face child? My grandma Ruby asked

I couldn't even talk all I started to burst out in tears

For Gods Sake come in here, why are you crying like this, do I need to call your mother she said.

I started to panic, NO PLEASE DON'T CALL HER GRANDMA PLEASE! , I screamed.

What is the matter with you screaming in my ear like that child? What is going on! She asked in her serious voice.

As I started to tell her what happened her face started to scrunch up with disgust at the words coming out of my mouth. I couldn't keep the tears from rolling down my face as I explained what happened it was to much for me. As I finished up saying what happened my grandma got up went upstairs and came back with her gun.

GRANDMA WHAT ARE YOU DOING! I asked

Granny baby I'm going to go kill this man and beat some sense into your mother, how dare she believe a man over her own flesh and blood and how dare her put his hands on you in any kind of way and as for Taylor fast ass I got some girls for her. she said with confidence

Grandma no I don't want any of that to happen I just want to get away and find my biological dad! I exclaimed

You what ? She asked

I want to find my real father grandma. I said again

Grandma ruby sighed like a weight has been lifted off of her shoulders.

I've been waiting on the day you'd come here and ask questions about him I know your mother hasn't and won't tell you anything about him, she said

I'm going to give you this address and this number I can't say to much right now but these will answer some of the questions you need and help you find your father. She said as she went through the drawers to her tv stand.

She hands me some documents that have my fathers full name, Address, and phone number. I was shocked that she had them all these years and not once said anything but I can't be mad at her because she has been the only person who truly has love for me on this earth. I wiped my tears and thanked her.

Grandma ruby you know I can't stay here right. I told her

And why the hell not? She asked

Because I stole 10,000 from mom so I could start over I told her

Girl are you crazy! She exclaimed but I understand baby don't worry about her I'll handle her I'll ride you to a hotel far away from here so she can't find you okay granny baby she said while walking to get her car keys. 

The drive to the hotel/motel was a nice little distant from the old neighborhood but it was country miles instead of city miles, basically the hotel/motel and train station are a  little in the country part of Chicago. I couldn't go to the train station downtown I would've been noticed by someone. But anyways.....

While in the car "I thanked my granny".... grandma thank you so much for real you have been the only person who has shown me love since I've been on this earth I'm truly blessed to call you my grandma I exclaimed

Come here baby give me a hug she said
After the hug we left out and drove to the outskirts of town near a train station.

Maybe after 2 hrs in the car we finally reached the motel Okay baby I'll see you in due time I love you and stay safe she said to me

I love you to grandma and I promise I'll be safe see you soon.

She gave me a kiss on my forehead before leaving out the room and driving off.

I walked to the woman at the front desk telling her I need a room just for the night she went back in her computer typing away then looked at me

It'll be 40$ just got the night she said I take my money and pay for the room and take the room key head to my room so I can get a n touch within

After a long shower that was needed I went and got dressed and started to go through the documents, they said that my father's name was " Calvin A. Coe" and that he live in the state of Georgia. Wtf he lives 12 hours away I thought he isn't far but shit that is far. I have his address name and number idk if I should call him or just show up. Whatever I decide to do I'll do it when I'm in Georgia. The train leaves tomorrow at noon so I need to get some shut eye I have a long day ahead of me.
