I stood right in front of the grand piano.
Ai was watching me like a hawk. "Hai." He said finally. "First note."
And guess what it was? High B Flat!
I opened my mouth, but unfortunately... I can't really hit that note.
Ai closed his eyes. "Then... we'll start with something basic."
"Gomen." I said.
"Do," he sang. "Echo me.
He stood right in Front of me after getting off the piano bench.
He stared directly into my eyes. "Do."
I was very flustered. "Do."
"Re."
"Re."
"Mi."
"Mi."
"Fa."
"Fa."
"So."
"So."
"La."
"La~" I was struggling now.
"Ti."
"T~i?"
Ai sighed. "You're too stiff. Loosen up."
He moved toward me. Unfortunately, that made me stand even more still.
He placed both of his hands on my shoulders and squeezed a little. I turned red, but I relaxed. He bent down, and tapped my calves. "Feet apart." He said.
I moved my feet about a foot apart.
"Hai, now, we'll go back to the piano." He said.
And I managed to sing after that.
I guess it wasn't as bad as the dance test.

"It's your break now, ____________." He said, once we were inside our room. (A/N: teehee, "our" room (=^ェ^=) kya!)
I nodded. "Hai, arigato, Ai-senpai." I said.
"It's just Ai." He said.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"No 'Senpai' at the end of Ai. It's just Ai." He said. "Everyone else calls me Ai."
Blushing, I nodded. "Hai, Ai."
I sat on my spinning chair, turned on my phone, and opened up Crossy Road.
I forgot that my volume was up, so the Poopy Pigeon kept farting at random times. I was silently giggling, and I was almost at 200-
"What're you doing?" Ai suddenly asked, his breath tickling my ear.
I died as a car ran over me in the game.
"I'm playing a game, Ai." I said.
"I don't get it." He said. "You walk along the busy roads, trying not to get killed... In order to get where?"
"Ano... It's a never ending game." I said.
"Hmm.... It sounds pretty pointless." He said. "You shouldn't waste your brilliant mind on that, __________. You should be working out or hang out with the other kohais."
I blushed, feeling complimented. "Hai, Ai."
"Why're you red?" He asked again, suddenly. "You've been red for awhile now. Daijoubu ka?"
I pushed down my blush reflex. "Hai! I'm fine!"
He didn't look very convinced, but let it be. "Okay. Dinner is in a few minutes. You should get some fresh air."
I stood, bowed, and walked toward the door. "Ja ne." I said.
Once outside, I was greeted with all the Kohais.
'Just when I wanted to avoid them,' I thought.
"Oi, ___________-chan!" Ui said. "Did you have a nice trip?" (Lol, get it? Since you tripped... Hahaha, I'm so weird)
"Yo, ________-baka." Nao said. "You didn't answer. Did you have a nice trip or not."
"That was quite a fall. I don't think idols can make that mistake." Kuroi said. "Though, you would probably be the first. Maybe you can be a comedian!"
"So, what?" I heard Tsubasu defend. "One mistake and you're judging her. Ui-san, you weren't even there!"
"Idols can't make mistakes." Akihiko said.
"If they do, they can just improvise!" Arata defended. "You needs wits just as well as talent to be an idol."
"Mistakes lead to disaster and disaster leads to you failing the Master Course." Kei said.
"We're only human!" Fuuto said. "Maybe I miss a few steps, maybe _______-san falls on her face. The great thing about us humans is that we can get better if we try hard!"
Fuuto, Arata, and Tsubasu stood by my side. But, it was pretty obvious that we were out numbered.
Four to eight.
"And I think you're all brats." Daichi put in. "Where do you think friendship will get you in the idol business?"
"And we stop here." It was Ren.
All the senpais filed out into the yard.
"Friendship can go very far in this business, Daichi." Ranmaru, surprisingly said.
"The eight of you will be punished for picking a fight." Ai's voice rang out.
Syo moved away from his senpai. "They're going to be in for it." I heard him mutter.
"And, Akihiko-kun, Kuroi-kun," Tokiya said. "Idols can make mistakes. I've dropped a mic on stage."
"And I couldn't do a photo shoot correctly." Natsuki said.
"And I couldn't play the piano in front of my class." Nanami said.
Tsubasu put an arm around me. "Daijoubu, ___________-san?" He asked.
"Just called me ___________." I said, smiling. "I don't really like the honorifics."
The three of them smiled. "Daijoubu, __________." They said. "We'll be fine!"
I smiled at them. New friends.
And I glanced over at the eight others. They looked pretty upset that they were caught arguing. They didn't look satisfied.
I had made new friends... And rivals.

After dinner, I beat Ai back to the dorms.
And on the door was a note addressed to me.
"We're going to make you regret coming here. Our punishment sucked, and so do you. Be prepared for all practices and any work we have to do."
And it was signed by the eight of them.
I swallowed hard. What did they have in store?
