Ch.1: Best Day of My Life (maybe...)

Hey, minna! This is probably the only chapter I will have a title for... Maybe....

"It was a day like any other... Until it wasn't."

That commercial always seemed to get to me. Until, something like that actually happened to me.

I remember just hanging around, bouncing a basketball, earphones in, music playing.

Quartet Night comes on, then, Maji Love 2000%.

And then, a mad man appears.

"Helllllooooooo!" He said. "I amm Shining Saotome, and I would likkkkke youuuu to join my agency!"

I took a surprised step back, "Eh?! Demo, I can't sing or dance to play an instrument." I tried to cover up. I didn't want to be scouted. I don't think I want to be famous either. Haters posting bad stuff about you, bad rumors spreading through, you're the target of almost every bad guy.

He wagged his finger in front of my face. "Don't lie, Miss __________. I have done research on you. I'm sure you can't (sing, dance, or play an instrument), but you can (sing, dance, or play an instrument.)"

I I stepped away again. Stalker, I thought.

He handed me an envelope . "I will be seeing you on Saturday, Miss ___________. I'm counting on it."

I sat down at my desk, in my room, in my house. Yup, mine. I don't want my parents, so... I live by myself.

I'm 15 (let's just say you are), and I attend a high school. Yeah, my grades aren't stellar, I'm not as good at sports and art as anyone else is, but I can do performing arts.

But, to leave my life behind to be an idol... That requires a lot of thinking. There are a lot of pros and cons on being an idol.

I opened the envelope. And I nearly died in my chair.

It was a ticket to STARISH's concert... And Quartet Night's the opening act.

Hmm... I guess I'll have to clear my schedule up for Saturday.

(Time Skip, it is Saturday now.)

Front row seat. A front row seat. OMG, I'M FREAKING OUT!

All the seat next to me were filled with others who were scouted. Eleven others.

But, I wasn't worried about that. I'm pretty confident in my (singing or dancing or playing an instrument or all or any of the above). And, the fact that I'm FRONT AND CENTER in a concert.

The lights dimmed, and four boys walked up on stage.

"Yo, minna!" Ranmaru said.

"Hello to everyone out there," Camus said.

"Minna, genki desu ka?!" Reiji called.

"..." Ai didn't say anything.

Reiji elbowed him, and Ai said, "I look forward to singing for you all."

All the girls screamed their throats out. I, on the other hand, wanted to save my voice.

And... oh, how they sang.

"You're my Life." Was the title. I loved it.

I clapped as they finished.

Ai looked at The audience with bored eyes. Studying us.

His eyes caught mine. He stared intently at me. I blushed, and looked away. My heart sped up. Quartet Night disappeared backstage.

STARISH came out, and I just sat there, mystified.

Both the Pioneering Princes and STARISH were amazing. What made Saotome think that I could end up like them?

(Time Skip!)

I sat in my seat, the other eleven scouted people sat still, also.

About 2 of us, me and some other chic, were girls. The rest... cute boys.

Each of them with different personalities, music/dancing skills, hair color, and eye color.

And, I don't think that they'll be asking me out any time soon.

"Hellllooooooooo, everybody!" Shining said, he, Ringo, Ryuya, STARISH, Quartet Night, and Haruka Nanami,walking up. "Glllllaaaaaddd you could make it! Now that you're all gathered, I will immediately assign senpais."

The girl, Ui was assigned to Haruka.

One boy, light blue hair, same color eyes, and a free, go-with-the-flow attitude was assigned to Otoya. (A/N: his name is Arata)

A second boy, really blonde, green blue eyes, a player... unfortunately assigned to Masato. (His name is Akihiko)

A level headed, brown eyed, flame red head was assigned to Syo. (His name is Fuuto)

A tsundere, black haired, red eyed boy was assigned to Cecil. (His name is Daichi)

A hyper active, lavender eyed, ash haired guy was assigned to Natsuki. (His name is Hiro)

A bored, brown haired, pale pink eyed guy was assigned to Tokiya. (His name is Kei)

A olive haired, same color eyes, nerdy-vibe kind of guy was assigned to Ren. (His name is Tama)

A girly-sounding (kinda...but, very kawaii), blackish brown haired, brown eyed boy was Assigned to Reiji. (His name is Tsubasu)

An over-confident, orange haired, same color eyes guy was assigned to Ranmaru. (His name is Kuroi)

A very full of himself guy, blonde and gray eyed guy was assigned to Camus. (His name is Nao)

And so that left me with...

"Gomen Nasai, Miss ___________. But, you'll be the only girl sharing a room with a guy. Mister Mikaze Ai is your senpai."

My heart skipped like..... seventeen thousand beats. Both in delight, trust me, lots, and lots of delight. But, also with that delight came anxiety as Ai looked at me with disappointed eyes.

Disappointment, huh? I thought. I'll show this pretty boy what I've got!

Or so I thought.

Everything from there just went south.
