24. First day back

Lucy's POV

"So both of your brother have gone back to work?" Mia asks as I close my locker door.

"Yeah..." I say nervously.

"How you feeling about that?" June asks picking up on my uncertainty.

"Don't get me wrong I'm pleased Jakes better and they can both go back to work..."

"But?" Mia asks.

"But what if something goes wrong again? They continuously do dangerous stunts and I don't have a clue what the rest of the cast and crew are like." I explain.

"Why don't you just ask to meet them? You could take a day off school to do 'field research' and go poke around and see whats up." June says.

"And Id love to do that but I'd have to convince my brothers, and I don't think they're gonna be that keen to let me skip school just to go see their work." I sigh.

"What if you faked a sick day?" Mia asks.

"No chance. They'd either take the day off or if it was an important shoot they'd get one of Jakes roommates to take care of me and they'd continuously check the cameras." I say.

"Well what if you threw a party?" Mia asks.

"Mia I doubt they're gonna let her throw a random party from all of their workmates." June says.

"I don't know guys, maybe I'll just have to ask them." I sigh as we walk into out first lesson.

Lukes POV

I'm dreading every second of this. lats time I was here everyone found out what I'd been hiding and id been in bad shape. I mean I'm still not in great shape but I'm definitely not as bad as I was. I'm driving so that at least gives me something to think about. Though I should be thinking about Jake.

"Are you nervous?" I ask breaking the silence.

"A little but not much. You?" He's so calm and casual.

"I'm fine." I say as confidently as I can. "Oh look we're here." I say quickly before Jake can question it.

As soon as I walk in I look for...

"Luke!" I immediately perk up at the sound of Stacy's voice as she runs excitedly over to me. I immediately pull her into one of our bear hug and we both pull away laughing. "How are you feeling?" She says before she starts scanning my body for injuries.

"Better then when you last saw me." I say nervously and she just smiles.

"Hey Stacy." Jake says as he walks over to us after seeing everyone else.

"Hey Jake. How are you doing?" She asks.

"Good actually. Just glad to finally be back to normal." He says casually, but I know he's lying. He still needs to take it easy and can't risk any stunts. Though now I'm not sure whether or not he'll move back to his house. It was nice seeing my brother more then just on set and occasionally when he came to borrow something or came for a random dinner. And if he does are we gonna have to go back to that awful back and forth with Lucy again.

"Oh looks like we're needed in set." Stacy says to Jake.

"Seems so." Jake say already walking off.

"Are you gonna be okay Luke?"  Stacy asks.

"Yeah I'll be fine. Go shoot your scenes." I say. I am fine. Then she leaves and suddenly every memory comes gloomy back. I'm all alone again in the same spot. My chest feels tight and the rooms sort of spinning and there's a ringing in my ears. I have to push past this and maybe go hang out with the rest of the cast.
