22. Explanation

Lukes POV

"What the hell Luke!" I'm woken by a panicked Lucy who chucks a pillow at my head.

"Okay I probably deserved that, but why?" I mumble tiredly and suddenly the pain from my head is back and just as bad if not worse then I remember (not that I remember much).

"YOU GOT KIDNAPPED?!" she yells and my head throbs.

"Yeah and my head hurts so inside voice please." I mumble into my pillow and my voice makes it clear I'm in pain.

"Sorry." she says and I finally look at her.

"Don't be. None of this was your fault." I hold her hand and she smiles weakly at me. then it hits me, "Wait how on earth did you know that?" I sit up a little too quickly and hold my head in my hands and sigh.

"Its all over the news. Are you okay Luke?" she looks at me with worried eyes and I look at her.

"Honestly... no. I got a concussion from when the bloke hit me in the back of the head with a metal pipe." I rub  my eyes tiredly. "Ugh what time is it?" My rooms dark since the curtains are still drawn and the lights are off and the doors only slightly open.

"Its 2:34pm." Lucy says and my eyes widen.

"Seriously?! wow I feel lazy." I joke and she laughs.

"I'm glad you got some sleep though." she smiles.

"Is it bad if I still wanna go back to sleep?" I smile shyly and she laughs gently.

"Why don't you just stay in bed today and if you need anything text me on your phone." She hands me my phone and I smile weakly.

"Thanks Lu." she smiles and then kisses me gently on my forehead and quietly closes the door which I greatly appreciate. I then get up and change my clothes and actually get comfortable before I climb back into bed and fall asleep again.

Jakes POV

News reporter:

A man has been arrested for the kidnapping of world famous star Luke Decker after co star Stacy Coles found him bruised and tied up on set. Coles claims that the kidnapper was their dunken director and that when she tired to untie her co star she was threatened violently with an empty glass bottle. Thankfully though no further harm was done as Coles was quick to react with self defence and helped Decker immediately. she says that when she found him he looked tired and unwell and his face was badly bruised and he could barley breathe. Then the rest of the shows cast came and helped Decker whilst the writers  called the police to the set. The cast then said that Luke had confessed to living in fear for months now. He opened up to them about the torment he had to go through emotionally and physically. He explain that although every stunt he was made to do looked controlled and harmless the start had experienced many hidden injuries including broken ribs. The cast then soon realised that the stunt involving Deckers younger brother Jake, who's also on the show, that had gone horribly wrong and had lead to Jake being take to hospital following serious injuries that was meant for Luke was purposely sabotaged. In a statement realises by the writers after the accident they said that the accident happened because of a problem with the air bag meant to keep the stars safe. However police have now found evidence that the accident was actually a cruel plot from the director that was intentionally meant for Luke. because of the incident filming has been postponed until further notice. So for now our thoughts are with Decker and his family during this tough time.

I'm still in shock. when me and Lucy woke up to the news report we just stared at it in shock. Lucy then ran upstairs to see if he was home and considering I heard her yell something I assumed he was. But I just stayed where I was. He'd been kidnapped? My injuries were meant purposely for him? How did none of us notice? we were all on set together and watched all of his stunts and all of his corrections from our director, so how did none of us ever notice what was really going on?
