Before all this Isla believed she was hopeless with love, she wasn't good at it. She fell for the wrong people and was uncomfortable with who she was. She put on an act for those at school to see, put up an act for those who she called her friends. She always wanted to be an actress, she'd be playing different roles her whole life anyway so why not make it a profession?
Mid 2017 Isla moved with her family from the south of England to the midlands, starting a fresh new life where no one knew her or her family. She was high on excitement to finally be free from where she used to live, free from the many identities she had created for herself. Now she could really be herself, for the first time.
She settled in quickly, new school new friends. But it was not until later in December 2018 she met her best friend. Lottie. Isla had just arrived home from the hospital after breaking her foot in PE the day before when her twin sister had a friend over. Isla and Lottie instantly became good friends bonding over their love for kpop and dancing, little did she know that this person would introduce her to someone that would make her undeniably smitten.
