17: How Jungkook met Taehyung

【ｅｄｉｔｅｄ】

It was just an ordinary day when, Jeon Jungkook, a 17 year old just had his first heart break.

He had a crush on this girl he really likes. And he, of course, after a few good months on crushing on her, confessed to that girl sometime around lunch break. But she,,, the girl had a problem. She doesn't take anything seriously. like anything, everything and some people hate her for that.

Maybe he just fell for her looks.

Maybe that just is. who knows? she was his first crush. not love. just a small crush.

when Jungkook confessed, the girl he likes just laughed at him.she laughed like a manic. Thinking it's all a joke. And she even called him an idiot for falling in love with her.

It was a Friday so Jungkook ran to the park to get some fresh air. not bothering to come to class for the rest of the day. and his friends will most likely bring his stuff at his home anyways.

Jungkook sat on a bench.

Then a stranger came up to him. Telling him it's okay.

At first he was weirded out. But he looked up and saw a completely beautiful person infront of him. was he hallucinating? it must be his eyes for crying a bit too long. but God was he wrong.

"Do you feel alright now?"

His voice was deep, deeper than the Mariana trench maybe, although it was calming, soothing. the stranger holds out both of his arms for Jungkook to just roll into. of course, the younger hesitated. the latter notices it and just slung an arm around his shoulder.

slowly, jungkook relaxed into the stranger's arms. And slowly began to calm down aswell

"What is your name?" The stranger asks.

"Tell me yours first." Jungkook says. How could he just give some personal info on some stranger when you could ask him first.

"I'm Kim Taehyung. 19 years old. You?" Jungkook smiles..

"Jeon Jungkook. 17." Taehyung shows the latter his boxy grin. Making Jungkook fall for him instantly.

Taehyung had just moved in to the city from his hometown Daegu. He got the news that Yoongi in Seoul and Jin is there too.

For Taehyung, Jin is like an older brother to him. Jin's and Taehyung's mothers are like far cousins. So it makes them relatives of some sort. So he moved in Seoul. And lived with Jin.

Months passed and both were developing feelings for each other. They both realised too, that they go to the same Highschool.

Jungkook has been making some moves now. That sometimes he would walk with Taehyung with an arm wrapped around the older's waist.

Taehyung thought that it's just a friendly manner, but when he realized that Jungkook has been blushing and smiling widely whenever he's there. He just couldn't have the feeling that the younger likes him

Taehyung has never fallen deeply in love yet. So it makes Jungkook his first love. But he had a crush on someone back in elementary and middle school. A puppy crush which you may call it. but alike Jungkook, it was not love. just a mere feeling of thinking and feeling that you like someone but turned out in the end, that he was just attracted to that specific person.

Prom night came at their school... Jungkook thought that it was the right time to tell his true feelings towards the older.

And there they were, on the rooftop. The moon was bright and full. The stars shined down brightly from the heavens.

That's what Taehyung's looking at. While Jungkook was looking at the older. And somehow Taehyung felt his gaze on him.

"Kookie?" Jungkook blushes at the nickname and shakes it off in a second.

He takes a step closer. "Tae.. I've been getting these feelings for some time now... And... I couldn't get you out of my mind even for a second.. your presence males me smile, makes me happy. But I just couldn't get the feeling that I want more." The younger trails off.

Taehyung was just attentively listening to him with wide eyes. He didn't know what was happening so he just listens.

"I want to wake up. Every morning with you by my side.. I know it may sound, for you, that I'm gay. But I'm bi actually.. and I want.. you.. to love me. I like you Taetae hyung.. please don't leave me.."

Taehyung gets the situation now. It was a confession from a friend. He almost yeet himself out of the rooftop when he heard Jungkook like him. But just pulled the younger's tie and let their lips connect to one another.

"I love you too kookie." Jungkook blushes and leans closer to make the kiss more heated. He bit the latter's tongue making Taehyung gasp and let Jungkook's tongue slip in.

They stopped when they were out of breath. Jungkook looks at Taehyung's chocolate brown eyes, with adoration and love. He engulfed him to a hug and asked him to be his boyfriend.

And of course, Taehyung said yes. Jungkook gave Taehyung a promise ring with his name. And another one for him, but with Taehyung's name on it.

3 years had passed. They were still dating. That month was there anniversary month.

Taehyung was driving home from work. It was night. He was going to surprise Jungkook for their 4th anniversary together. But he heard something unusual when he was about to unlock the front door..

Moaning..

His eyes widened. It wasn't Jungkook's. It was a female's moans.

He rushed towards their room and slammed the door open. There he was.

Jungkook and an unfamiliar woman on the bed. Naked.

"J-jungkook..?" The said man turned around. And saw Taehyung in shock.

"Taehyung?" Taehyung, with tears in his eyes and also rage slammed the door. He ran downstairs if ignoring the younger's calls. He went to his room and got all of his stuff.

He already called his Jin hyung to pick him up. Once he was done with his stuff. He stood up and head for the door. But Jungkook was standing in the way.

"Please.. Tae.. let me explain.." Jungkook tries to get a grip on Taehyung's wrist but he failed only to be kicked in the gut by him.

"Don't you dare fucking touch me!! I trusted you! I LOVED you You even gave me a promise ring!" Taehyung removes the ring and throws it somewhere in the room. "We're over. We are fucking over Jeon. Good bye." and by that, he heads out of the house.

He felt relieved when he sees Jin's car outside. He placed his belongings in the trunk and slammed the door shut when he got in the passenger seat.

Jin flinched at the force and looked at Taehyung. He saw him sobbing already in the seat. "Tae..?"

"Hyung.. ple-please.. can i-it be at ho-home?" Jin nods and drives to his house in silence.

2 months later, Taehyung saw Jungkook again. And this time. He works with him. He couldn't be annoyed and angry less. But now with Jimin too. Who hurt his Yoongi hyung.

And they know each other! Taehyung was stressed even more.

And sometimes Taehyung thinks that he knows Jimin from somewhere.. he just couldn't put his finger to it.

Hm..
