18 : accident

【ｕｎｅｄｉｔｅｄ】

The day was almost over, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook were in the eldest's car, minding their own businesses.

When, Taehyung breaks the uncomfortable silence. "Hey hyung," he starts. Jimin only hums and Jungkook look up from his phone, waiting for Taehyung to continue.

"Have you... Ever had the feeling that.. I knew you from before?" Jimin's looks at him for a short moment then back at the road.

"Yeah.. you do too?" Taehyung only nods. "Hm... Could it be possible that we were schoolmates or something before..?" Jimin shrugs. "I dunno-"

"JIMIN LOOK OUT!!"

The car has been hit by a sixteen wheeler truck who had suddenly made a u-turn. Jimin wasn't quick enough to avoid or stop the car because it just SUDDENLY made a turn. Resulting the car hitting the truck.

"T-tae.." Jimin tries to get out as he grabs his phone and dials 119 (emergency hotline in Korea)

"Hello? This is 119 speaking."

"H-help.."

"Sir? Where are you? Did something happened? I'll call the emergency response team now. We have tracked your location and we're on the way."

The phone hangs up. Jimin couldn't keep his eyes open for a long period of time, because of the unbearable pain growing from his head. He feels blood dripping already.

He looks at Taehyung who's forehead and some parts of his face covered with blood. He turns his eyes towards Jungkook. Some parts of his body were bleeding aswell.

None of the two were moving, but Jimin was sure they were still alive.

He heard the sirens of police cars and ambulances coming toward their direction. And all he could do was close his eyes.

The trio was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Good thing there was a hospice nearby where the accident occured.

Taehyung was the one who suffered the most damaged, being the one who was on the right side, where the truck came from.

He lost a lot of blood. And has the rarest type of them all. AB.

Jin and Namjoon rushed to hospital when they got a call about Taehyung there. Yugyeom rushed there aswell.

The three were waiting outside the operation room. Anxiously awaiting for the doctor's news about their friends' conditions.

Jin was shaking furiously. He would be dead if Taehyung's parents found out he got into a car accident. And he would be scarred for life if something really bad happened to his little donsaeng.

Namjoon was trying his best to help Jin stop shaking. But he just can't stop. He's very worried for Taehyung too.

Yugyeom was standing still in a corner. Silently hoping his friend is alright. And silently hoping Taehyung and Jimin are too.

After an hour or two the doctor came out. Namjoon stood up. "What's up doc?" Jin asks.

The others in the room just looked at him. "What? I'm asking if Taehyung's alright." Sighing, the doctor straightens his glasses.

"Mr. Jeon and Mr. Park are in a stable condition but.. Mr. Kim... Is.."

"Taehyung is what?" Namjoon asks. "He lost a lot of blood. And needs to be replaced this instant. Unfortunately, on the downside, he has a rare blood type. Which is AB." The doctor announced.

Yugyeom was relived his friend was alright but a bit worried for Taehyung too.

"You don't have any stocked up blood for that type?" The doctor shakes his head. "It's not enough. But.. a blood donor would be nice." Jin raises his hand.

"I could do it! My blood type is O, which is a universal type, no?" The doctor nods his head.

"Okay that's settled.. but there's still one more thing.."

"What is it?" Namjoon asked. Yugyeom was pretending not to care but he's listening attentively.

"Mr. Kim is in a coma."
