"Mr. Kim is in a coma"

Jin, Namjoon, and Yugyeom were shocked.

"C-coma?" Jin managed to say. The doctor nodded apologetically. "Yes. A coma can last up to 12 hours to a few days or so, let's just hope that he'll wake up sooner or later and let's get going he needs the blood that needs to be transferred to him immediately." Jin stood up and followed the doctor.

Leaving only Namjoon and Yugyeom waiting outside the operation room. The youngest of the two looked at Namjoon, who was busy fiddling with his hands, as millions of thoughts washed over his head.

'What if Taehyung won't wake up?'

' what will his parents say when they got the news?'

Suddenly, a tap was felt on his shoulder. His thoughts were cut off when he turned around to see Yugyeom looking at him apologetically.

"Sorry.. You seem you need someone to talk to.." Namjoon nodded. He was right. Jin was with the doctor having a blood transplant to Taehyung, so there's no one to talk to at the moment.

"I'm Yugyeom by the way." "Namjoon." The latter nods. "What's your relationship with Taehyung and the guy earlier?"

Namjoon let's out a sigh. "Taehyung's sorta.. related to Jin. Jin is.. the love of my life." Yugyeom chuckled. "That's cute."

"Do you know the other guy the doctor said?" The younger asks. He doesn't know about Jungkook's friend, Park Jimin.

Namjoon quirked a brow. "You mean Park?" The latter nods rather immediately. "He's just... Someone, we have an issue with."

"Issue?" "Yeah.. just tried to kill one of my friends back then. Now he's after Taehyung." Namjoon sighed deeply. Yugyeom pressed his lips into a line and patted Namjoon's back. "Thanks." "None taken."

The next day~

Jimin woke up in a hospital room with a throbbing headache as he slowly sat up from his position. He turns and observes his surroundings.

"Hospital? Why am I– ah shit." The moments of the accident the day before flooded his mind which eventually became a headache.

"Aish.. is Taehyung alright?" He whispered to himself softly as he tries to stand up but failed.

"How can I know if he's alright when I myself don't know if I'm alright either?" He curses under his breath for his statement.

Jimin lays back down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. The doctor came in shortly with a nurse trailing behind him.

"Oh, Mr. Park you're awake." "Hi, doc." A few questions were passed and Jimin still didn't know about his friend's condition.

"So doc... How's Taehyung doing?" The doctor momentarily looks up from the clipboard he is holding then looks back down again.

"Mr. Kim is in a coma as of the moment. He also lost a high amount of blood which was replaced immediately. Now, I am going to check on him next. See you later Mr. Park."

And by that, the doctor heads out of the patient's room and heads to Taehyung's next. Leaving Jimin still stunned.

"Co-coma..?"

- at Jungkook's room -

Jungkook slowly squinted his eyes to adjust to the brightness in the room. He tries sit up without making his head throb.

He sees a figure in the room. Sitting in one of the sofas. "Yugyeom..?" The said man blinks and rubs his eyes then looks at Jungkook.

"Kook! Do you feel fine? Are you alright?" Yugyeom said, rushing to Jungkook's side. "I'm.. alright I guess.. my head just hurts." Yugyeom nodded. The doctor shortly came in and began to check on Jungkook.

"Ah.. okay doc. But.. how's Taehyung?"

"You're worried about him too?" Jungkook nods. "I'm sad to say that's he's in a comatose, Mr. Jeon."

"And will you excuse me, I'll be checking on other patients now if you mind." "No.. it's okay..." The doctor, along with the nurse, bows before heading out of the room.

"Comatose..? Yugyeom how.long does a coma last?" The latter fishes out his phone from his pocket and searched it on Naver.

"Hm.. it could last up to 12 hours to days kook." Yugyeom said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

Jungkook curses under his breath when he heard his friend's respond. He doesn't blame Jimin though. For some reason he doesn't.

"Get some rest kook. You hungry?" "A little bit. But yeah.." Yugyeom gets up and heads for the door. But Jungkook stops him before he goes out. "Wait! Please not hospital food!" Yugyeom chuckles.

"Alright."

- at Taehyung's room -

"Sigh... If Taehyung's parents found out that his son got into an accident. I don't know what I'll do." Jin says worrily with a pitiful expression, as he looks at Taehyung's figure on the hospital bed.

Poor boy has some wires attached to his body. And an oxygen mask to help regulate his breathing.

Namjoon rubs circles on Jin's back to comfort him. "Let's just hope that he'll wake up sooner or later. And his parents won't find out."

"Won't find out? C'mon Joonie! He's in a coma for gods sake! God knows when he'll wake up! There's even a possibility that he won't! I... I should've not agreed with letting him go with Jimin in the first place."

"Then... Then he wouldn't be here in the first place! It's all my fault." "No. It's not your fault Jinnie. It's no one's okay? No one's. Don't blame yourself for everything."

Jin stands up and faces him. "I'm the one his parents trusted with. I'm the one who should take care of him. I'm the one who should protect him. But I didn't. It wasn't enough. So I'm the reason he is here. I thought, I was protective enough to make sure he's alright. But no... I wasn't! Now. He's here. In this frickin hospital bedridden because he's. in. a. coma."

The taller stands up and embraces Jin into a tight warm hug. And that's all Jin needed to call down.

"It's okay Jinnie.. just let it all out..." "I-I'm sorry for shouting.." Namjoon only nods. Letting Jin sob on his shoulder. "Just let it all out... I'm not going anywhere."
